Iāve been looking for a grey 22 for ages ā¦itās a hard to find colour ..that and caviar finish in 22Thanks! Itās dark grey (23B)
what do you mean by that?the bag canāt withstand any weight
My medium started peeling within two weeks. The peeling was a result of using it once to travel - two pouches (travel sized skin care, small pack of wet wipes, a couple of cables & one portable battery), wallet, Bose headphones, scarf - and about handful of times with a 13ā mac air, A5 notepad (no cover), pen case, one pouch and a flat wallet. Those pouches werenāt stuffed btw.what do you mean by that?
Yeah, I kind of know what you mean. With a big bag, we tend to want to put more items inside, but if the chains cannot stand the weight and digs into your shoulders, it really defeats the purpose. Which is why when looking for a big bag, I always make sure the straps can withstand heavy weight (not in Chanel, but in other brands).Hello. Iām looking for advice although I think I might know the answerā¦
I bought a medium 22 when it first came out. Traveled once with it and have used it to carry laptops etc. But I got frustrated with how the medium sat on me and the shape, especially once things were inside. This irritation made me think about the large which I had tried on at the same time - I liked how it fell on my body and the longer drop. The SA kindly let me exchange and I ended up getting the large once back in stock.
Since the exchange, Iāve used it once in 1.5 years. I still think itās beautiful, and the size suits my body and style. But because the bag canāt withstand any weight, Iām at a loss. It really defeats the purpose of having a large bag.
My lack of use also comes from the possibility of me letting it go. But Iām not sure itād resell well given low demand.
Iāve been regretting for some time now as I prefer bags that I can actually use. I feel like Iām stuck with a bag thatās just sitting in my closet.
Sigh, open to any views!
As in the leather started peeling? Eeks! I personally think most Chanel bags arenāt made for carrying a ton, like a laptop and other heavier items. The chain strap on most bags just doesnāt look comfortable for a fully loaded bag.My medium started peeling within two weeks. Overall I feel like I canāt use the capacity that itās meant to offer, especially if it peeled with my most essential items.
Beautiful bag!! Do you find the small fits enough items? Or do you wish you had the medium?I love my small burgundy tweed 22ā¦love it so much ā¦I finally found a Chanel bag style thatās casual and practical for daily wearā¦.have now sold my classic flap and Woc and reissue as I only wore them a handful of times over 10yrs ā¦whereas Iāve been wearing my 22 non stop since I bought it!
Beautiful!! What size is your 22?I tried to convince myself that I did not need another bag, but here I am. Tried it on last weekend and finally gave in and took her home today. She is now sharing space with her jumbo sister. ā¤ļø
Thank you, itās the small size. I have been using it as a daily work bag since. āŗļøBeautiful!! What size is your 22?
I have a bit of a hard time seeing any need for the larger sizes, the small one can fit a laptop and plenty extra, never felt that I needed more spaceBeautiful bag!! Do you find the small fits enough items? Or do you wish you had the medium?
When the 22 first came out, I hated it. Now after seeing it on different girls, I decided to give it a try at my local store. Now, I cannot stop thinking about it. Just need to decide on color/ hardware combo and size. What a first world dilemma.Just like a lot of the members on the forum, I was not a fan of the 22 when it first came out. Iāve stayed away from Chanel for a couple of years now because other brands have captured my attention. But most recently, I could not stop looking at the 22 and once I tried it on, I absolutely needed to have it. This small beauty came home with me yesterday. Canāt wait to continue to wear her and hoping that the Chanel gods are kind that the wear and tear issues are minimal.
