Hi, girls! I’m trying to find Chanel 22 in small size for myself since I have a 11 month old and need to carry a lot of stuff with me. My understanding that they don’t have them in the boutiques any more, so I’m checking the consignment store and I see that some of Chanel 22 small size come in shiny calfskin when others in a Matt leather (they still are described as calfskin). I love the shiny leather and try to understand if this is just difference in pictures or they do come in different leather types. I have Chanel 19 maxi in shiny leather, but not as silky as some 22 that I saw (don’t remember what type it is but I love how shiny it is). Can you please tell me if they are different? I’m talking about Chanel 22 small with gold hardware. Thank you very much in advance

Wow, what? I hadn’t heard they no longer had them in the boutiques. Do you mean all 22’s or just the small? I bought a small one in Paris about two months ago and was hoping to get a mini when I visit the store again in about a month. I had not heard anything about them no longer being readily available (sad).
Hm… that’s probably what resellers say 😅 I hate going to the boutiques and I love to buy everything online. So I probably have a false info. My SA is on the vacation until next week, so I’ll try to go to the boutique just to ask them if they have this bag available. Nevertheless when I sent them a request through the website I received an email that they don’t have this style any more☹️
The Chanel website’s chat function (if that’s what you used) is not great at telling you what’s available or not. They once told me a 19 in the color I was looking for isn’t available anywhere, and then a SA tracked it down for me. You will probably get a more accurate response in the boutique but I hear you on not wanting to go into the boutiques! I’m pretty certain the small 22 in calfskin is still around - the caviar is what I’m hunting for and that’s been hard to find!
Not sure how recent your info is, but I was in a Chanel boutique a few weeks ago and they had a bunch of 22s 
For sizes I saw the mini, small, and medium. For colors I saw black, white(ish), and red. Not sure about the leather types, or whether they had shiny calfskin or not, but they were all smooth leather and I didn't see any caviar.

I was at the Chanel (Nordstrom SJ) location and they had three small 22s (navy blue ish, white, and red).
Do you know if the letter peeling is covered under the warranty or only free for a limited time? This is my concern as well
Just returned from Paris this weekend and each location had multiple 22’s in sizes and colors. You had me worried LOL. I didn’t find the specific color I was after but I saw this and fell in love. I didn’t want another pink crossbody but this specific shade, tone on tone hardware and caviar leather captivated me!

It’s definitely pink. @KensingtonUK described it perfectly above, “muted dusty rose”, but I can see how it would look beige/nude.

I LOVE the shiny, soft caviar and the black logo. I wanted something that’s a bit more subtle. (The mini in pink caviar was also gorgeous btw.)
Apparently none of the shops had any black, neither in shiny leather or caviar leather - except to this one. I think I had my name on it
