Champagne Diamonds: Your thoughts?

Anyway I decided to get the ring I'm thinking of, I'll post a pic when I get - it's not a primary ring for me but I thought it looked fun and "different." I mean can't have it as a main ring but it would be a fun one to wear...

I cannot wait for my ring to be ready, sooo excited! To be honest , I really prefer it over my pink and canary diamond jewellery. It's just so beautiful.
And my one isn't actually brown , it's like a pretty peachy colour. I feel that sometimes when people say they are "dirty" looking or whatever, they have only seen poor quality ones. make sure you always go to a good jeweller who will show you the best of everything , be it diamonds or anything.

i don't care for them personally. i think the diamond industry has created a trend that allows them to sell diamonds that otherwise wouldn't be desirable at all. i just don't see as many sparkley, eye clean champagne/chocolate/cognac/whatever name you want to give brown diamonds. actually, i think i've only seen one clear, sparkley, evenly colored brown diamond (in someone on tPF's halo set e-ring) that appealed to me as a beautiful piece of diamond jewelry. on a more personal note, part of the reason i love diamonds so much is because they're white and match everything.....so fancy diamonds (especially in the brown family) don't appeal to me at all. there are so many other gems in the brown family that are priced better and are much more likely to be eyeclean/sparkley.
^^ im not saying they are dirty looking...just iknow they are mostly left overs that i KNOW they didnt know what to do with so they put a fancy name on them in hopes of selling more! and ive seen MANY types (different shades etc etc) and they are all from our personal jewlers and at other well respected jewelers and still dont like them!

I think champagne diamonds can be extremely elegant in a simple setting. I worked for someone who had a champagne diamond, between 3-4 carats. I think the massive size of it made it very appealing. It didn't sparkle like crazy, but there was an allure about it. I think any size smaller doesn't quite hack it. Don't think she even knew it was "champagne" diamond, she seemed apologetic about the diamond not being clear but it always turned my head.
champagne (aka dirty yellow) no but dark brown eye clean diamonds can look very gorgoeus when set in rose gold and are also sparkly.
I'm thinking about getting a tennis bracelet made up (for myself) in white and champagne diamonds. I love how the champagne ones look against the white diamonds. And it would be a great match for my ring haha!!! 
But I am still waiting for my ring to be ready. I wish it would hurry up, getting a tad impatient

To be honest with you I like white diamonds and only white, I think colored diamonds are in fashion right now but in a year or so they will fade...

I have seen them but don't think they have the shine and sparkle of white diamonds... I prefer white diamonds in looks and value as well
