Challenge: One bag only? Let's try it!

During the height of the pandemic, for most of 2020 and a lot of 2021 I carried just one bag, a Tumi voyager crossbody. It was small, handsfree, light, water resistant, and packed a ton. It helped there was nowhere to go.

Fast forward 2023 and I still hardly go anywhere except for grocery shopping and work, and usually with both kids. I have been carrying my Balenciaga courier in mogano for a few months now without switching. I find it super versatile for looking coolish while still carrying all kinds of weird items the kids have given me to carry that I'm not allowed to discard. It's also light and handsfree and packs a ton.

Since having small kids, I'm one of those people who buy all kinds of bags but only use a couple of them regularly
You go for what makes you feel best. Many times it's a comfortable, no-fuss bag. It's a very familiar feeling for me, too - I have my favorite, easy going bags for the days I just can't deal with anything extra.

I’d love to join

I am going to wear my black Depeche bag for the rest of march. Only exeption will be if I need s bigger bag for school than my computerbag.

I will take pictures tomorrow. The leather is amazing.
The look, feel and smell of great leather is sometimes all you need to pick your spirits up.

If I could only keep and use one bag, I would sell all my other bags and just use my Polene Neuf. I would also keep my Coach Minetta, as that was a sentimental gift, and my Kate Spade Natalia, because I got one for myself and one for my mom.
How long do you think you could use just one bag for? Have you ever tried? You're welcome to join the challenge!

I change mine very frequently, almost daily. I coordinate with my outfits and don't like to mix black and brown accessories, so if I wear my brown snow boots but have all my stuff in a black bag, I will change bags even if it makes me late to wherever I'm going - I have priorities after all.

However, in the spirit of the challenge, I will commit to using only my Frrry Owl because it is a good neutral that works with black, brown, and most other colors. The color is aptly named, "soft" gold as it is not flashy but actually fairly quiet. The leather is so thick, soft and supple, that I won't mind not changing it out for a week or so. But only until my new Frrrys come in. I mean, no one could possibly resist the temptation of a new bag!

Celine Trifold with the contrast berry interior. I have been carrying this all month so what next for April?
What a glorious bag and cute pup!

I'm in the same place, I've used my Littlephant hobo nearly all month not counting my travels - now I'd love to do something colorful and spring-y. Will have to put my thinking cap on tonight and make a decision!

So, March came and went, and my Littlephant hobo got used most days.

I really like it, but now I want something that I can carry in my hand. So Coach Field tote 30 it is! I carried her on Sunday when I went voting for our parliament election and it was like hanging out with an old friend. I love that lil' bag!

So what bags are people doing for this month?
Can't believe we're nearly halfway into May and I'm still carrying the Field tote 30!
I just haven't had a good enough reason to change bags yet. The Coach has been my go-to for work, travel, meeting friends, shopping, running errands and so on.I did use my TB Ella nylon tote once when I had to carry my own laptop and for a night out I grabbed my LC LPC crossbody. That's about all of it - I'm seriously thinking I might actually survive with that one Coach for the rest of the year. But I'd feel guilty for all my other bags not getting any action though...
