@Diamondbirdie and their idea of owning just one bag for everyday use made me think.
In this time of plenty and endless options, can we actually survive with just one bag? Some of our parents or grandparents most likely did this. Minimalists do this.
Can a bag collector do it as well?
Let's try!
A few guidelines:
- you are free to choose the bag you want to try this with
- you are free to choose the time you will do this for; a week, a month, a year...
- you can stop at any time or keep going for longer, how ever you feel like
- please share the bag and time you will be doing this for, tell us your thoughts during and after, on both the bag and the experiment itself.
Let's talk! I hope for a lot of discussion about the things this challenge has taught us, what was easy, was there a rough spot, would you do this again, has it changed the way you look at the bag you chose or your whole collection, did it change your outlook on (wearing) bags altogether...?
PS. As life happens, there are things that don't count: reusable grocery bags, laptop bags, diaper bags, coolers etc.
This is a challenge about the bag you carry your wallet and phone in; the handbag, messenger, tote, pouch, whatever you carry in your everyday life.
So, why don't we give it a go! Who's with me?
