Beaux, i love the one that you posted.. which style is that? And as far as the new models, I haven't seen them.. and the Nordstrom SA told me that they're not gonna carry Celine anymore..

I am going back and forth regarding the SC 1751 in turqoise for a prescription.. should i? :thinkin:

Oh no - how sad that they're not going to carry them anymore. Maybe they weren't big sellers since it seems they had so many on sale last week. I'm not sure what model it is - but it's being sent to me now so when I get it I can let you know. As for the turq - I'd have to know what your coloring is to know if it was a good fit. Could be a fun alternate pair of glasses though. The price right now is really great. The same or less than ray bans!

I can't wait to see yours! I have a pair coming next week, will post a picture of it too. And I'm still undecided on the turquoise :sunnies:sunnies

That particular pair, I'm going back and forth on it.. it's so cool but I won't use it as sunglasses cause like you mentioned, the lenses are transparent.. but for a prescription..... :thinkin:

Ask for sunglasses and ask them if they can track one down for you.. give them the style number (SC1747) and the color that you want.. HTH!

I will post a photo - hopefully they'll arrive Monday. I'm surprised about the glasses only in that I did a nation wide search through an SA for the large Audrey (in any color) and Nordie's had already sold out months ago. Also the blogs etc. this summer seemed to be all about this years Celine sunglasses and they seemed hard to find.

btw - I think the turq would be really cool reading glasses.

barneys sf has the cat eye version and a few other styles of celine sunglasses (they have a good selection...so does the nyc store)...

i can't wait to see everyone's new purchases!
