She didn't just get a huge implant in her upper lip, she may also have fixed her gummy smile by doing that procedure that makes your teeth longer (although her teeth look like veneers.) She's definitely not showing lots of gum when she smiles.

The jaw is a bit different too... ? More angular.

I agree, it looks like she just fixed her gummy smile - i know there is a procedure where they can make it so you don't show so much teeth when you smile. Plus it looks like she got veneers and upper lip enhancement. It looks great!

I think its the angle of the two pics, her jaw looks the same to me.

Speaking of teeth, George fixed his too... but I think men have to be careful, because they can look like dentures. And that's very aging.

I don't think GC has anything to worry about though, he just gets better with age.

She's not a celeb, but it shows the extremes people will go to to look "pretty"

How badly do you want to be pretty?

2648347990_264cf0d151_b.jpg

How badly do you want to be pretty? This young girl from Singapore obviously wanted it badly enough. I was sent photos of her via email along with this note:

I love reading your website and recently I came across this young girl from Singapore (a country in Asia) who is rumoured to have had much plastic surgery done to her face. She is said to have started at the young age of 19 and she is now 24.

I thought you might be able to share some insight on the possible work she has had done (since, she denies having any plastic surgery). The most prominent issue seems to be her forehead!
There is a very strange bulge on her forehead and in some shots a strange white line on her scalp is visible.
There’s a lot of speculation regarding exactly what she has done to her face, although I am not sure why anyone would want to have a bulgy forehead. It would be cool if you could give your 2 cents on it.

It is highly possible that she had a forehead implant, eyelid surgery, a brow lift to give her eyes an inward tilt, rhinoplasty, a chin implant, cheek implants, and facial filler. Why would someone have a forehead implant? It rounds out the area to give a more feminine appearance. What does it feel like afterwards? There is bruising and swelling after surgery and sensation in the forehead can be lost.
Look at where she started off and where she ended! She went from looking like a tomboy to looking very pretty.

P.s. She's only 67/68

Very moderate with the work, but she looks BEAUTIFUL!

Raquel Welch - Looking good over 70

Raquel Welch was one of the most beautiful actresses of her time. Today, she remains very attractive. Her face looks natural. It is not pulled insanely tight. Nor are her eyes tilted at an odd angle. I do believe she has had plastic surgery and whomever did it performed a wonderful job with a light touch. The doctor did not try to pull her face back to 25. She looks like she is aging gracefully. Even her neck is wonderfully done. Usually an overly tight neck is a gives away poorly done plastic surgery.

When plastic surgery really works.. meet Miss Korea 2006 Honey Lee

honey_lee_makeover.jpg

Plastic surgery really works when a women wants to graduate from cute to drop dead gorgeous. Take for instance, Miss Korea 2006, Honey Lee. Before she had plastic surgery, she was a cute girl, but with rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, lip augmentation, and a forehead implant to give her face a more feminine look, she is truly stunning and as a result, came in first runner up at Miss Universe in 2006. After the pageant, she was given numerous endorsements and modeling opportunities, so her investment in plentiful plastic surgery paid off. The only negative comments towards Honey Lee are complaints that someone who paid money for their looks should not be allowed to compete in a beauty contest, because the event is not about ‘who spent the most money at the plastic surgeon’.

Wow, can we say work...

Nadia Comenici

1976 Olypmian Nadia Comenic is looking refreshed these days. Her once wizened face, looks plump and useful. Her lazy left eye looks like it has been corrected as well. Her teeth are looking brighter than ever (veneers, perhaps?) Nadia looks better than she has in year. She no longer looks excessively worn and tired.

Just for kicks...

More photos of Thailand’s Jocelyn Wildenstein

Here are more photos of Thailand’s Jocelyn Wildenstein. This woman appears to have had so much plastic surgery, she barely even looks Thai anymore, but actually looks more like a Japanese kabuki creature.

Her nose looks like it has been operated on multiple times. Even when smiling, her face does not wrinkle. Her teeth look like veneers and her lips are quite bee stung. I’d be shocked if there was no part of her face she had never altered via plastic surgery, botox, or other injections.

She kinda looks like Bill Maher here

What the hell is going on here?

was not hot to start with, she is at best what the French call jolie-laide, which roughly translates to ‘oddly attractive though not conventionally beautiful’.
Her cheeks look larger and her brow is much tighter. The larger cheeks do not work, because her eyes are naturally too small. Does it make her look more attractive? Nope!

Christina Aguilera is turning into Priscilla Presley

An alert reader sent in the photo above, featuring Christina Aguilera and Awful Plastic Surgery blog regular, Priscilla Presley. The reader felt that Christina was starting to look somewhat like Priscilla, because her cheeks seem to have grown in the past few months (did she get cheek implants or did she gain weight in her face?) and her chin looks more prominent, which gives her a jawline very identical to that of Priscilla.

What do bicep implants look like?

bicep-implant-gone-wrong.jpg

What do bicep implants look like? Like the areas circled in the photo above. People who get bicep implants want a more muscular and full look in their arms. The implants are made of silicone and shaped before being put into the arm, so it is very important that the plastic surgeon be experienced at performing the surgery.

Considers?? That's a joke right. LOL....but we've already had that debate here.

Rihanna Considers Plastic Surgery For The Future

Posted on September 10th, 2008 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery, Oscars Plastic Surgery, Award Shows by Sam Stets

This past weekend, Rihanna shimmied on stage as a performer at the Video Music Awards, losing out on the Moonman for best female video to Britney Spears’ triumphant return to the VMA stage. In the past, Make Me Heal has speculated as to whether or not Rihanna has had any plastic surgey. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Rihanna’s plastic surgery). Little did we know that the 20-year old diva has been doing some plastic surgery speculating of her own.

Although she says she hasn’t had any plastic surgery so far, the Barbados-born beauty doesn’t rule it out in the future especially when it comes to her breasts.
“If my breasts started to drop, I might not like that. But for the next 20-25 years I’m going to stay as natural as possible,” says Rihanna.

In addition to a possible breast augmentation and mastopexy (breast lift) in the future, Rihanna has faced rumors of having had a nose job. As the shape of Rihanna’s nose seems to change depending on the angle of the photo as well as lighting and make-up, it is hard to say that she has definitely had a rhinoplasty. Pictures of the star do show that the singer used to have a wider nose, whereas now the nose appears slimmer, more projected, and the bridge and tip are narrower now than in older pictures of Rihanna. Being that Rihanna’s look has improved dramatically in the last two years, a nose job is clearly a strong possibility.
Fast forwarding to pictures of Rihanna’s nose over the last two years, however, shows that her nose is narrow and sculpted in some recent photos, but then mysteriously returns to being wider again in photos taking around the same time. This suggests that what is at hand here is probably clever use of makeup, which apparently Rihanna is very fond of because of her having grown around a mother who was very makeup-savvy.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn also believes that Rihanna’s nose is likely the result of excellent makeup skill.
“The first ‘after’ photo looks like her nose is a bit thinner and more projecting. It is possible that lighting may be the cause, but not obvious. The second ‘after’ photo looks pretty similar to the before photos. Difficult to tell, but most likely there is no surgery there,” says Dr. Youn to Make Me Heal.
Make Me Heal did conclude that Rihanna’s skin tone has changed slightly, due to the possible use of bleaching agents and skin lightening creams or simply better make-up that brightens up her skin.
Rihanna gets a lot of criticism for her wild fashion choices, but as long as she’s young enough to pull off the bustiers and minis, Make Me Heal thinks the talented young woman should carry on pushing the fashion envelope until her breasts really do start to drop.

LOL! The 'before' photo is definitely NOT of Lee Ha-Nui (or more commonly known in the west as Honey, which is similar in pronunciation)... I've seen childhood/high school photos of her and she looks pretty much the same, other than maybe losing a lot of baby fat. I can't tell for certain whether or not she's had work done, though... but I think she is one of the most stunning (and smart! she attended Seoul National University, one of the most prestigious in the country) winners of the Miss Korea pageant in recent years.
