Caviar of serie 30xxxxxx !! Your thoughts?

I have two flaps and one is smooth abs bigger flatter pebbles like yours and my other one more pebbly and matte. The bigger flatter pebbles look glossier - it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s less durable. The pebbly one does feel like I can throw it around more, but they’re all pretty durable. Looks like you got a nice glossy one too!Hi just wanted to get some assurance here as I am quite new to Chanel ,these are my 2 new classic caviar flaps in the 30 series . They are not as pebbled and quite smooth to the touch .
there was another more pebbled medium for me to choose but the 4 corners at the bottom were not pebbled ( as in you can see some bald spots)
I understand each batch of caviar is different , so hoping this series wears well
Is smoother caviar less durable in any way to a rougher more pebbled one ?

Hi! Im a new member here so I still can’t post a thread of my own.
I’m also a Chanel newbie and I just purchased my first Chanel bag- a Small Classic Flap Caviar Black in GH last Oct.19 2020 through a personal shopper and I had it delivered to my address. He got it through Neiman Marcus in Coral Gables, Fl.
I was overseas at that time and I was just panick-buying thinking about the rumors of having another price increase in Nov. I got to unbox around 1st week of Dec 2020.
I love the leather and everything but I just realized that the strap ends are weird and popping out of the chain. Is this normal? Does this happen often? I chatted with a Chanel staff online on their website and she said “it shouldn’t be sticking out that much” and I also contacted Neiman Marcus through chat but they said it’s beyond the return period.
Should I just let this strap issue go and use it (Ps. i still have the tags on) OR have it replaced through After-sales return (but I don’t know if it works if I bought it from NM) OR should I sell it and buy another one personally so I can check it, in stores(but will I ever get hold of one? Some said it’s hard to find these days)
this may be like a shallow issue to some but it’s my first ever splurge and first ever Chanel, I just thought it would be perfect and flawless

Mine doesnt stick out that much but they can cut it for you I am sure. Just send her to any Chanel boutiques. That part will be bothersome if you pull the chain strap around the grommets.
Oh great! Thanks for that idea. Have you tried having the straps of your bag cut? Was it okay later on?
I said mine does not stick out that much so I never send my bag to cut. I sent to re-stching yes. Free of charge.
