I got a reply now, they want me to return the shoes so that they can repair them. Do they look repairable to you?? I'm not sure. Should I insist on a refund instead?

I had a terrible damage on my Gianmarco Lorenzi disco balls - the bottom part of the double metal (!) platform cracked in two - no way to be fixed at all, but I sent them to Italy to the manufacturer, and they came back like new! I did have to pay for the repairs and shipping though, but it was very much worth it. It's up to you, though, if you still want these booties - they are an easy fix for the manufacturer, believe me. Maybe also try getting an exchange for a brand new pair? You just bought them anyway...

imo, you can try to let them what they gotta do to fix it. I wanna see how they work on it. (surely they don't charge you right?!) then if they couldn't, you can insist on a refund or exchange to brand new a pair. you didn't hurt your foot or ankle did you? I love blades but this is shocking moment... :(

The thing is, I'm not sure I actually trust the construction of the blade heels any more. I don't think I'd dare to wear any blade heels out after this. :(
I asked their customer service if return for a refund was okay, and it was. I think I'll return these and use the refund to buy another pair of Casadei ankle boots with a more traditional heel design!
