Cartier unpopular opinions

I'm not a fan of the cord style bracelets. They look like hair ties, and I'd be so annoying if it got wet, and having it feel damp and soggy on my arm. I'm especially not a fan of stacking multiple cord bracelets together. I think it looks cheap. I also am not fond of stacking Cartier together with multiple plastic or rubber bracelets. Again, I feel like it cheapens the look. I adore classic Loves and JUCs stacked together. It looks so classy and timeless.

1. I don’t understand stacks with some bracelets that are totally the same (i.e. same LOVEs)
2. I don’t like how the LOVE pave looks even though I like the idea of screws and pave (imo there’s too much metal between the diamonds, but maybe not as much in the slimmer models)
3. I feel like they’re trying to create every type of jewelry for each design, even though in some cases it’s not necessary (i.e. don’t get the JUC earrings, LOVE studs, etc.)

I have one of the original Love charity cord bracelets. It was my first piece as a 20 something. I still have it and enjoy wearing now with several Cartier pieces I've purchased with age. While I don't think they look "cheap", I do think Cartier making the Trinity cord now almost $700 is to bring the exclusivity back. While I love my cord, I would never purchase one at today's price.

I would like to see Cartier bring out a brand new design or two (and hopefully not with sky-high prices). Sometimes I peruse their site and feel like I’ve already seen everything before for their regular jewelry.
I totally agree. I don’t think Cartier should come out with a new line every year like handbags but maybe like every 3-4 years?

Is Clash the very last one (2019)?

I still haven’t taken the plunge on the clash bracelet though I really like it.

4 years on, what kind of designs would interest the cartier audience I wonder ?

Likewise, I’m getting no excitement lately when I am surfing cartier site (though it’s still my fav jewelry brand). Maybe that’s why recently I bought something from Chaumet instead!

Not sure. The panthere got popular in last 2-3 years but has been here for a while ofc.

My last was my clash ring. I had a JUC ring but lost it. Écrou did not excite me at all.

I'm sure there must have been more new lines, but I only know of the two that I have been trying to buy (limited release still) - Berlingots (came out about a year ago) and Graine de Cafe (just released).
