My rose gold didnt turn yellow yet but im expecting it will in time including the white gold. Gold is naturally yellow anyway. I bought a beaded tri color gold bracelet from local seller and i noticed some of the rose gold beads turning yellow already. How often does the ring need to be replated with rhodium ? I'm thinking about getting the trinity with the diamonds only on the white gold band.
Honestly, the ring that you returned looks normal to me. There is not much contrast due to the alloys of gold that Cartier uses. The rose gold is very soft, and the white gold will not have that bright white finish to contrast with the yellow gold. This is the nature of Trinity pieces.
