I don’t want to come off as rude, but that advice sounds ridiculous to me. You shouldn’t have to use lotion or soap/water to take off a brand new ring. That means it’s tight. The trinity ring, especially, doesn’t look so great when it’s too snug. The design of the ring already means several “bumps” (for lack of a better word) and if tight, then your finger adds to that & it just looks uncomfortable. I believe you made the right decision and you’ll be happier in the long runUPDATE- I went to change the ring for the bigger size today. The SA was trying to convince me to keep the one that I have. She said it’s the perfect size and that I should just use soap and water or hand cream to take the ring off. I decided to listen to my gut and the advice from you lovely ladies. Hope I made the right decision because she said I can’t change it again!

It doesn’t feel tight, but well fitted.I had to get my regular size. I bought in store though. It looks ok on your finger from the back, but the front does look a little snug. It also looks like you didn't or couldn't push the ring all the way down your finger.Does it feel tight? If it feels tight now, you may want to exchange for a bigger size if your fingers swell more in the summer. I love my ring, but it was tricky to get the right size.
