Can anyone unlock their small love bracelet with a finger nail?

I'm asking because today, my thin love bracelet unlocked itself
I checked it and I realized that I can twist the screw with a small amount of pressure with my finger nail:hrmm:
I don't even need the screwdriver to unlock my bracelet.

I wore it with the screw side towards my thumb.. maybe in this position it is more likely to open itself..?:confused1:

It drives me crazy honestly, because exactly one year ago I sent it in because the screw was loose..
But they exchanged it..
Is it normal that you have to exchange the screw every year?

I can’t but I have dip over my natural nails.
Mine has never been loose or fallen off *except! when I first got it and we “screwed” it on lol”
My friend over tightens/turns the lock too many times and needed repair. It’s not common at all if it’s put on correctly, meaning locked on properly with 1/4 of a turn

I have had my small YG Love for about 7 years and it has never unscrewed itself and I could not in any way open it with my fingers, haha. You should definitely take it in for a check again. This should not be a yearly thing. Careful so you do not drop it!
I had a similar issue with my regular RG Love and they replaced the screws for me. Lasted for another 4 years before is disappeared from my wrist one day......... That sucks.

I recently purchased pre-owned Small RG bracelet. It is from early 2017, however the mechanism seems much looser than my YG and there is a gap on the screw side. Has anyone else experienced this? It had definitely been polished as the edges are not as sharp. Unsure whether to send into Cartier for a service or whether it is due to the age? View attachment 5928784
Interesting, I have never seen that. Mine do not have a cap, but it is YG.
Let us know what Cartier say if you bring it in!

Question for the small love bracelet owners! I’ve seen lots of you say how comfy it is to wear 24/7 but are you needing to tighten it? If so, how often?
Its super comfortable. More comfortable than the classic version to wear 24/7 IMO. You do not have to tighten the small version. Its a different screw mechanism and its on a hinge so its much easier to take on and off.
