Dunno how much gold you'll rub off, my PhD is in Chemistry not material science. Did that once a week initially now every 3 months or so.![]()

Although the Cartier screwdriver is very sexy, it's generally useless for tightening the screws enough to stay tight. I use a jewelers screwdriver and I can get the screws seated much better. It's also easier to hold than the little screwdriver.
I wish they made a love bracelet screw driver as a necklace, my best friend's mom always thought about how romantic it would be if someone could screw your love bracelet on and keep the screwdriver on them as a piece of jewelry too.
I'd 100% would buy a screwdriver necklace, or maybe I'm just crazyHas anyone else had this thought too?
I am visiting family in Switzerland and popped into Cartier to replace a lost screwdriver since there isn't a Cartier in Minneapolis where I reside. The SA was very kind and gave it to me for free as some have noted. The screwdriver is definitely stamped Cartier.Does the screwdriver stamp “Cartier” at the top end? Some say yes and while some say never.

Not a good idea. Jeweler's cloth removes a bit of gold layer every time you use it. All fine from time to time but not daily and *not* with rhodinated Loves.![]()
Yes, I carry multiple screwdrivers, but not the Cartier supplied tool. I use a larger screwdriver since it's often impossible to get enough torque to loosen the screws with the little one. This is especailly true if the screws have Loctite on them.Speaking of the screwdriver, anyone have multiples to be carried at all times? (One in handbag, one for bike rides, etc,
