Not a good idea. Jeweler's cloth removes a bit of gold layer every time you use it. All fine from time to time but not daily and *not* with rhodinated Loves. :amazed:
It won't remove gold. it's basically just a chemical that clean the non gold tarnish not a physical remove gold surface to get it clean. my white gold love bracelet didn't change color the rhodinate plating is pretty sturdy which actually surprised me too XD. The pink gold one really get the original pink color back though.

Gold is not that soft that can be removed by a cloth~ it's still a metal. even my 24k gold pendant won't be thinned by the gold cloth :amuse:
Can you please post a picture of your love bracelets? I’d love to see how they look after polishing them every day! I bought the same cloth last week and have only used it once so far but I don’t see that much of a difference :(

If you are afraid of removing gold you can slightly clean it don't use any strength then you definitely will be safe XD. It worked very well for me after I polished them each time ~

Sry but untrue. Jewelers cloth / cloth rouge contains small diamonds which - and you are right here - is not a metal but not really the softest material on Earth. If you read descriptions which say "Please note that the rouge may get onto the user's hands if gloves aren't worn." It's *not* just a piece of soft cloth. Beware

And there are no specific chemicals included. Having my PhD in Chemistry I need to make clear that there are chemical compounds everywhere but no special one here for cleaning.

Shouldn't be used on Loves with diamonds or gemstones, too of course.

Oh there might be the type which contains diamonds and need to wear gloves then it may remove gold when clean the jewelry. The cloth I used is very soft cloth and only use chemical to clean the tarnish. This type should be fine

Yes, the chemical compound on your cloth is just an iron oxide. It does buff away the scratches, but it's very mild.

What is seen in the pic is black colloidal dust of gold rubbed off. Please ask your jeweler if you don't believe me.

I use the cloth once a while which is absolutely fine. Just not daily.

P.s. in the pic it says jewelers gold cloth which is just what it is: cloth rouge

D'you see the contradiction in this sentence?
I don’t see the contradiction. However I think it’s fine. Like I am heavy on the shrugs about the topic.

I use one from time to time. And whether it’s a chemical or diamonds, I personally don’t care lol. I don’t think enough gold would be removed to make a difference in the bracelet. It’s not like the Cartier service that results in rounded edges.
So if people want to use them. So be it. Like I don’t see the big deal. Or the absolutism of never use or always do this or that. Let people enjoy things.

Can't agree more! My SA also used this type of cloth to clean my tiny trinity ring before changing the silk cord, so I think it's okay to use it occasionally.

Occasionally. Exactly. Not daily.

How often would you recommend using a polishing cloth, if ever? Now I’m curious. The cloth and spray that Cartier provides does a pretty good job for the occasional clean, but I’m intrigued by the idea of getting my pink gold closer to its original color once in awhile.
