Here’s my scarf - a Must de Cartier scarf that was given to me from a French relative in the early 1990s. I’ve never worn it!

Oh my word, what an absolute beauty, are you kidding me, it's amazing  .

I wore my one and only today (it works really well with my red Gucci Aphrodite). I hope you wear yours.

Love these lush vibrant colors!

Thank you! Yes, it is, but sorry, it's not a very good picture. It doesn't do it justice. When (or if) I have better light tomorrow I will take an another. It is truly gorgeous, I'm thrilled.

I am literally addicted to hunting for vintage Cartier scarves, they are part silk, part 'jewellery'.

I had neck surgery and now have a big ugly incision that isn't even a scar yet. I think it might be many months or a year before it will fade. I don't know how it will look (and yes, I am using all the scar applications). I want to cover it up and will really miss wearing my Cartier necklaces! Do any of you have scarves to show off and give me inspiration for how to wear them? TIA!

Not to distract from the Cartier topic, but have you checked out Hermes scarves? They make particularly beautiful ones.

And this is a great time to wear your favorite earrings to draw the eye there!

Feel better soon from your surgery! A friend of mine had surgery that involved a scar there, but the incision was placed by the surgeon in an area where her neck naturally creased a bit, and it became less noticeable faster than she or I had originally expected. A couple years later, no one ever notices that it had happened. I hope your healing is pretty straightforward and that it can become subtle with the passage of time!

Most importantly, sending good vibes for healing.

Thank you! My surgery was a few weeks ago and I'm feeling much better, finally. I'm also hopeful my scar will look better (less noticeable) over time.

That's a great idea re Hermes scarves!

I appreciate your warm wishes, they help!

You are welcome! It is great to hear that you are on the mend. Hopefully only upwards from here!

And I am actually glad that you brought this up, as you put me in the mood to organize my scarf collection and make sure my collection list was up to date. :)

Power of healing to you! I wish you a speedy recovery.

Cartier has wonderful scarves. I have two, but I'm always looking for new and vintage. I would totally recommend one.

I have many brand's scarves, I'd say the best quality are Asprey followed by the rest, Cartier and Hermes included. Get a scarf that you really love regardless of the brand or situation so you can wear it longterm.

Usually I'm not into the more commercial, self-referencing designs, but I love that I'm wearing illustrations of fabulous high-jewellery designs without the high-jewellery price-tags.
