These are such pretty bracelets. I really wanted both the WG and the RG. I went to look for the rose gold one day and it was gone (Poof!) off the website. I was so disappointed since I’d been saving up for it and finally had the money. My sweet husband managed to contact an SA in New York and plead my case. She didn’t have one at that time but remembered my husband’s inquiry and got back to us a few weeks later. She got one in my size! I won’t have the same luck finding a WG version but I’m delighted I managed to get the RG version. I wonder if they will replace the design with all pink sapphires at some point? A girl can hope!
That is so sweet of your husband (and the SA)! Do share when you receive it

Oh, I wasn’t very clear, sorry. I got the bracelet about a month after they discontinued them so I’ve had it for a while. At the time the SA contacted us, she said it was the last one in the US. I did call a couple Cartier stores in Europe to see of they had a way to get one to me but had no luck. I was so excited and happy when the SA called. I love the rainbow bracelet so much I just check this thread from time to time to see what the skinny is on possibly getting the WG version and to find out if other people have been able to get one on the secondary market or special order from Cartier. I’m obsessed! Lol

I really want the rainbow love bracelet and so bummed they don't sell them anymore. Would love to add to my current love collection. I called the customer service line and they also confirmed no updates as of now bringing this back in the bracelet.

Just a strange FYI for those who love this version of the Cartier Love: I have been obsessed with finding one of these for years in my size and finally located one from a very well reputed luxury jewelry store in London and had it shipped to me in the US. It came with original receipts and all the stuff, and the reputation of the jeweler is outstanding so I was not really worried about authenticity. Anyways, I got it shipped to me in the US and was thrilled as it looked great and was well under US retail. However, the screws kept coming loose every day. The jeweler wanted me to send it back to London as they warranty it and they would send it to Cartier if necessary, but I knew that would take months and have to clear customs two more times. So, I sent it to my SA and he sent it in and said there would be no cost for the screw repair. Turns out, in addition to fixing the screws, they have to replace some of the gemstones as some of them are chipped. I had no idea this could happen and wanted to mention it here. It will cost me about $400 to repair the stones, so still all in under US retail for this much desired and discontinued piece but I may have reconsidered buying if I had known.

Explains why it was so much under retail? The jeweller didn't disclose the fact as to why?

Doesn't matter - you finally got your gorgeous bracelet for a good price!

This happened to me also, some of the stones are not as durable as diamonds (though the sapphires are pretty durable). It is not too noticeable, but I also had one of my stones replaced while I was having the screws redone anyway. In my case, I believe it was a citrine.

I have a RG Rainbow Love. This one is the second one- as the first was replaced within 6 months because at the time, there was no fix for the screws...anyway- the second bracelet- within 18 months i had to replace 2 stones in mine because of chipping! I think it is just the nature of the Rainbow Love, not the previous owner being rough on the bracelet. I would buy it again and again if I could! I would LOVE a white gold rainbow in a 19 if anyone ever see's one out in the wild!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing this. Glad to know this is not unusual. If necessary, I will fix it again as I love it too and it is in WG and I can't wait to have it back. I accidentally bought a WG size 19 from TRR before this one, but forgot I am an 18 so returned it. maybe look there? it was perfection.
