If this is the case they will need some time. Usually it's at least 1-2 weeks. End of January makes sense to me.

I have the diamond JUC on my wish list too. It just went up $700.00 last summer. Way overpriced for the small amount of diamonds. I can get a 10-carat diamond tennis bracelet probably for less. This increase will price me out.Later I’m assuming. In the past, I feel like they are always given like a week or two’s notice.
Exactly my feelings. I have diamond JUC and Clash on my wishlist (won’t purchase in the same year) and I will not panic buy. I’ll just save up more not a big deal. Now Chanel? That’s a different story. I made my last bag purchase January 2021 and I’m done with them lol.
LOL. True but nonetheless they have been getting carried away with the increases as well.Madness relates more to Chanel in my view. Cartier handled the increases quite cautiously so far.
Do you need to rethink your name here, then?![]()

I agree but if the rumor is true about the percentage of increase, I find 12-15% increase on Clash ridiculous. I am so mad I didn’t fall in love with it earlier and could have bought it for $6,600. I will not be able to make it for this increase, which means I will have to purchase the Clash for $8,050 in several months’ time. Ugh.Madness relates more to Chanel in my view. My SA said the price of the Balloon Bleu already went up.How true that the price for watches will decrease? My SA didn’t confirm or deny.
It is ridiculous. I wish I could get a 12-15% increase in pay every year.I agree but if the rumor is true about the percentage of increase, I find 12-15% increase on Clash ridiculous. Just checked with my SA and asked her if there was going to be a price increase and she said that she is not aware of anything. Not sure if employees know or if they are just not revealing that information
Whether 12-15% more or less, designer jewelry costs a premium. You will never get a value when compared with what you can buy in the weight of diamonds. That has always been the case. Some people will be turned off by the increases, but these companies know a majority will come around and buy anyway.
Yes, precisely, these brands already know that people are willing to pay a premium that the average person either wouldn’t or can’t afford. People are paying a premium for the brand name. Anyone could buy a comparable yet unbranded 18k bracelet or bangle with the exact same gram weight for a small fraction of the price that we pay over 7,000 USD for the love bracelet. It’s the same reason why luxury brands don’t have “sales.” It’s also the same reason their sales weren’t severely impacted like some other businesses or sectors during the pandemic/bad economy because the type of clientele they target and cater to can (for the most part) still afford these things.
Individual consumers just have to decide what they feel the brand and product is “worth.” Some people may be turned off by the price increases and reach their limit while others may choose to turn to the preloved market. For others buying these pieces, 10-12% is a drop in the bucket and they hardly notice/don’t care.
Well 6.6 is amazing! I get a measly 2 percent annually. No kidding! I just did the math on my pay increase this year and it was 6.6%. I thought I was getting ahead of the game until the news of a price increase![]()
