There’s something I don’t understand about Cartier.
When I called three different boutiques in the U.K. a couple of weeks ago, I was told by all that the price increase is July 15 of 2-3%.
So I called again today to double check before I book my appointment and they are all saying that they do not know the date and % and will only know on the day it happens.
Why the secrecy..?
This is what my SA has been saying to me - that they don’t know the price adjustment until closer the time! They did say 15th July for sure though. So I’m surprised they told you % over the phone! Maybe they weren’t suppose to but accidentally told you? Or maybe the one serving you has no idea?

That’s what I’m thinking, that when I called the first time, they weren’t supposed to tell me all of this info and now they are being sheepish even with the increase date.
Oh well, I’ve booked my appointment for 10 July so hopefully I’m ok.
The SA does not know only a few days before, less than one week normally. The store managers of course know a lot sooner as do the country managers. Prices themselves can be fixed over 1.5 years ahead- not allowed to share more here.
Haha lucky they told you on the phone so everyone here knows! I’ve booked an appointment with my SA before the 15th too and planning to pay for the item and then collect it on my birthday so I beat the price increase (need to be v strict with myself haha). What are you planning to get?
