Partly also because when the service tax was abolished In 2018 , the prices came down. I appreciate that Cartier hasn’t been increasing a few times a year like otherI can imagine they also want to correct currency fluctuations which ocurred sine their last increase. This, however, is just my thinking rather than informaton from Cartier. From what I see the Malaysian Ringitt lost *a lot* of value so it makes sense.
Still these increases (afaik) are extremely low compared to the recent gold-price-rush or what others are doing. Just think gold. Up by 50 % recently. As its value is rougly 1/4 on the price of Cartier jewelry the gold price rise accounts for more than + 10 % alone. They could have gone mich higher. Or even should?
Does anybody know if the price will increase in Hong Kong as well on September 1st? I’m waiting for a small Love bracelet with 6 diamonds to come in but the SA doesn’t know when it will be available... does Cartier usually allow clients to pre-pay for items to lock in the pre-increase price?
do you know the percentage of the increase? As well confirmed in Australia as of 01/09
Sorry, I don’t know the details.do you know the percentage of the increase?
The increase in regular rOse and white gold JUC Is $1500hkdThe price difference for buying Cartier in HK is around 15% less than buying it in North America (at least for Canada). You’ll be still better off buying it in HK, even after the price increase.
