I can imagine they also want to correct currency fluctuations which ocurred sine their last increase. This, however, is just my thinking rather than informaton from Cartier. From what I see the Malaysian Ringitt lost *a lot* of value so it makes sense.

Still these increases (afaik) are extremely low compared to the recent gold-price-rush or what others are doing. Just think gold. Up by 50 % recently. As its value is rougly 1/4 on the price of Cartier jewelry the gold price rise accounts for more than + 10 % alone. They could have gone mich higher. Or even should?

Partly also because when the service tax was abolished In 2018 , the prices came down. I appreciate that Cartier hasn’t been increasing a few times a year like other

Does anybody know if the price will increase in Hong Kong as well on September 1st? I’m waiting for a small Love bracelet with 6 diamonds to come in but the SA doesn’t know when it will be available... does Cartier usually allow clients to pre-pay for items to lock in the pre-increase price?

There will be price increase on 1st Sept according to my SA. Which boutique did you visit? I can ask my SA in central to help to check the item you want.
