Cartier Panthere watch Mini or Small?

Hi! I have exactly the same dilema. I am considering mini because I love bracelets but not so much watches. I never had a watch that I would want to wear everyday, I could feel every one of them and. Now this mini seems to be a perfect one.

At the same time… the small isn’t a big watch either. I have 16cm wrist, am tall (180cm) and slim. I’d go for a mini but am a bit afraid that it would look too childish on me. But looking at your photos I prefer mini anyways Sooo difficult to decide!!!

My wrist is 14 cm but I feel exactly the same : Mini for me is Bracelet, not watch.

i tried both mini and small over the weekend in store! 153cm, 14cm wrist, i prefer the small. i usually wear my watch on the hand without other wrist candies, so the mini looks sooo small on its own on me imo!

Haha, sounds reasonable! I will only visit Cartier store in 2 weeks, but have made mockups of paper, and realized that mini is VERY tiny. So being 180cm, 16cm wrist, I will no longer consider it. Although I really like that it had no minute markers.

I also was thinking about mockup because I can not visit the boutique right now, only order online

The bracelet of mini is 10mm and small 12mm. There’s unboxing video of a mini on youtube as well but I think it looks bigger on video than live or in my mockup. But for sure best is to try them on live. For the price, it’s not worth buying if the size and all doesn’t feel 100% right:smile:

Anyone considered or have the panthere small stainless steel with sunray blue dial and diamonds? Can’t decide between that and the tank Louis small in YG
I have panthere and tank Louis small. Between the two, I reach for the panthere 80% of the time. It brings me a little more joy to wear probably because it is more a piece of jewelry especially with diamonds. Tank Louis is a little more understated/professional. Panthere is fun/feminine. It depends what you’re going for. Hope that helps! 5E2790DA-53A1-459B-8C77-CFFBFFC577A1.jpeg0CF44858-A8E3-4830-9140-375DAE7A5FB2.jpeg

A little update: I went for a Medium size View attachment 5708214
Looks very good on you! Little update from me as well - I went for the small. Have actually filmed my unboxing at
if anyone would like to hear my sizing thoughts and close-ups.
Generally, the mini was absolutely too small in real life. Small is what I thought mini would be like, when I saw photos of mini.
In my opinion mini could look good proportions-wise on someone max 160cm tall and about 55 kg weight.

I’m also thinking of the mini, I like a little sparkle but not too flashy, I’m petite in height and size, the mini is perfect, particularly I love their rosegold which is more rosy than other brands and mini size with diamond seem doesn’t hv any yellow gold option? And in resale market seem rosegold can fetch higher resale price? What’s you guys opinion on this? (Not thinking to resale anyway but the fact that it would keep its value going forward is kinda comforting :-)

Hate to break it to you but for most watches, solid gold almost always depreciates more than SS watches. Even TT watches get quite a loss as well.
It can be a pretty heavy loss. See below for a 50% drop from retail to pre-loved on Fashiophile.

You're probably better off not thinking too much about resale price (even though there are price increases and inflation) and just buying what you love.

Thanks for the info, I actually checked and notice the substantial discount in yellow gold Cartier watches, but seem there are not many second hand rosegold Cartier watches available for sale? It seem to be that their rosegold watches will hv better value retains compare to their yg counterparts? Any insights in respect of this? Thanks
