Cartier LOVE purchase regret

Happily, I have no regrets at all. I have two Love bracelets that I wear together on my right arm. I wear my watch on the left. I do have to admit that I tend to be the type that wears the same jewelry day after day...year after year. That’s just my nature. I love my Loves and I doubt I’ll get restless wearing them for a long, long time (if ever).

When I tried on the Love bracelet in WG with diamonds I thought there was too much bright rhodium for me, so I got rose gold 4 diamond. My other jewelry is white metals (platinum, white gold, silver). Even though I think mixed metals (e.g., white gold and rose gold) can look good, I really love the more cohesive look of 1 metal tone (all yellow, all rose, or all white). So I kind of regret not getting my love in white gold and just waiting for patina to "dull' the rhodium a bit. I know plain white gold love bracelets don't have rhodium but I really prefer diamonds instead of plain.

Thanks, this is great! I have to agree on the love ring. When wearing for a long time, it does cut into my finger as the edges are not fully rounded? I wasn’t aware the trinity is uncomfortable- good to know.
I realize this is older thread just adding comment that I love my Trinity and forget I’m wearing it. Could only see it uncomfortable for some if incorrectly sized (worn too small so the bands don’t roll at all or too big where they roll excessively to point of almost losing them). It could also be true is the three bands are misaligned (they should all fit smoothly together before placing on your finger without either of the three sticking awkwardly out of alignment.

I will never tire of my love. 1) It was a push gift from my husband. 2) It's vintage. He purchased it from a very nice man who was selling them because his wife passed away. He sold it to my husband for $1600 and we will NEVER find a bargain like that! 3) I loved it when I got it, loved it even more when it was professionally polished and cleaned by Cartier. It shone like new!

Yes and no. I started with the yellow gold love. Then added the WG, then the JUC and then the rose gold. While the JUC was hinged, it was so stiff I wore it 24/7. It was a wonderful stack.
While you think jewelry is forever, tastes change. I looked at them one day, and decided I didn't want them anymore. It was that instantaneous.
There was no real reason, although I did hate the fact that I was always hassled going through security, and then there was that nagging question of whether I was tempting fate--what would happen if I broke my arm--would they have to cut them off--but these weren't the reasons.
Bottom line, I loved them, enjoyed them, had fun with them and it was time for something different. I haven't regretted it once and I like the ability to change my bracelets depending on what I'm wearing or even wearing nothing at all.

I do! At first I bought the love in a size 16, when my wrist is only 13.5 cm. I regret it everyday, but I still love it. I have it in the reserve for maybe a little later in life if I put on a few lbs. But I'm waiting to purchase another in the size 15. Woops...

That's how I feel about my loves. When i bought my regular love, I believe 16 was the smallest.

My wrist also measures 13.5cms and believe size 15 would be a better fit but I have never tried on a size 15.

Have you tried on 15, how does it fit? Any pic?

I stared with a rose gold love 8 years ago, then got a rose gold love with 4 diamonds. I also have a yellow gold juc with diamonds. This has been my daily stack for at least 6-8 years. I absolutely love my juc but sometimes I regret the loves. They are on every other women’s arm where I live.

Is it too lose for you? My wrist size is 13.5cm too and bought the love size 15. I been thinking lately tamest did I make the right choice, and wished that I should bought size 16 instead.

It’s fine, not much of an issue, but have to admitted there once in the while I felt little snug even though it still move up and down easily. That’s why sometime I wished I should get 16 instead

I guess I feel the opposite to what you're feeling..

It only really occur to me that my loves might be a little too big this past winter. Before that I never ever thought it was loose or I should of gone one size down (15). The size 16 'just' touches the tip of my palm when I let the loves hangs down.
