Cartier LOVE purchase regret

I have typical size regret over my Love bracelets too like so many people do since Cartie doesn't offer half size, so you have to choose a loose side or tight side, but I also regret that I casually bought 2 Classic Loves without diamonds. I love my classic plain Loves too but I often think I could easily afford both bracelets with diamonds while I bought so many bags ( mostly Chanel that costs over 6k each ) addicted too much, half of them are sitting in my closet now. I feel so wasting but too lazy to do start all over again, like selling and re-buying, just feels too silly to do that..lol
If you really can’t stop thinking about the diamond ones and have unused bags (especially if not classics in my opinion), it could actually be a good idea to sell bags for jewelry. But make sure about sizing first! You don’t want to size up and find that they’re actually too big on you..

Thank you for your post. I currently have 2 reg loves (WG and YG) w/4 diamonds and 2 small loves ( WG and YG) w/6 diamonds. Thinking of adding two rainbows (you guessed it, WG and YG), but wasn’t sure if 6 loves would be too loud. Your post makes me feel better.

The YG rainbow is a special order submitted a few months ago. I’m hopeful it comes to fruition — time will tell.

Interesting observation re: pave loves. I’ve never been able to pull the trigger, but I also have not been able to vocalize why. Perhaps it’s all the bling (dominance) in one bracelet that you alluded to.

@880

I changed my mind. I recently canceled my YG rainbow love order. I have decided to go in a different direction from Love in general to change it up a bit, although I have not figured out what I’m going to do yet.

I have put a deposit on YG ecrou hoop earrings though....

Hi, Thanks for your input! In my case actually, my LOVEs size a little too loose and I'm not too keen on diamonds but I feel I should've spent more on jewelries than too many bags. I was too obsessed with bags for a while but now I know jewelry is definitely worth spending for the long run, But then I'm just too lazy to sell my bags to make funds for another jewelries..oh well lol

I'd love to see your gorgeous stack :heart:

Non regrets but I’m actually parting with my regular love bracelet. I have a regular 4-diamond love, a small pave love, and a regular diamond JUC, all in YG. I wear all 3 stacked 24/7 most of time. Sometimes I took JUC off and add a VCA 5-motif. The 4-diamond love is my first Cartier bracelet and I only took it off a few times during 8 years of owning it. It did feel like part of me. The last time I took it off I never put it back on. I now like to switch my stacks and want the flexibility to take it on and off easily as I’m getting more VCA bracelets. Also the small pave and JUC stack a lot better without the regular love. The pave gets lost since the regular love is too dominant in the mix. So I am letting go my 4-diamond love but absolutely no regrets. I loved it every bit over the last 8 years and it’s time to move on...

Same! I wish I bought my thin love bracelet earlier than bags!

I love my standard width WG 10 diamond love and thin yellow gold 10 diamond love. I’ve had them almost a year now and never take them off. I do have to check screws on the regular size one and tighten weekly and very occasionally when I wake in the morning I might have a bit of discomfort if I pushed them up too high and they have dug in but it’s rare and only lasts a minute or two after I push them down. They are scratched up as I use my hands a lot but the scratches bug my husband a lot more than me . To me they just tell the pieces story, and maybe that I’m a bit of a clutz. Cartier wanted me to get a size 18 but I went to a 19 for comfort and I am so glad I did. 18 was fine for the smaller style but when I added the wider one it became uncomfortable. I did have them soften the screw surrounds on the bracelets I ordered in so they wouldn’t rub as I’m a sensitive little princess and absolutely no regrets. Actually maybe one, I regret that with three I look like an overweight Wonder Woman as I’d so like to add another. Maybe a pave narrow will prevent that look .

You mean you had Cartier shave off those protruding screw rounds on the inside of the bracelet? I didn't know they can do that!! Did it cost anything extra? The screw part on the inner side of my small love was bugging me so much with its round imprints that I had to size up from my normal size 18 to size 19. The inner screw protrusion doesn't bother me as much after sizing up, but the bracelet is a bit too loose and sometimes turns. I am contemplating returning to my size 18 but worries about the inner screw protrusion bugging me again and leaving imprints. Please explain your solution, I am so interested in going that route too. Thank you! :wave:

The screw surrounds and screw are still there the edges have just been softened so they aren't as square or sharp. You still get the imprints, I don't really notice them much anymore and I guess most of the time I wear the bracelets in the one spot on my wrist so there are no visible marks.

Thank you for the reply. It's good to know Cartier can do that if needed. Like you, I'm also a little sensitive to the screw surrounds so if it can be made a bit rounded and less sharp I am all for it! Thanks again!

They just sent it off and did it for free for me. A bracelet I can’t wear comfortably is no good to me, let alone one designed to wear 24/7. It’s so much more comfortable now, I don’t even notice they are on. Good luck
