I purchased my first yg love in September 2015..I just got my second yg love a few days ago and wearing stacked together. I have never had problems with the first screw coming loose and rarely check the screw. A few hours after I put the new on I noticed the screws were raised higher than the old one. It was a bit loose and did lower slightly after I tightened but it is still raised higher than the 2015 one. I called four boutiques and emailed Cartier but all have different answers to why this might be. I thought maybe they changed the screw but nobody could give me a straight answer. Maybe this is why some are coming loose and others stay tight? Anyone else with two have one screw raised higher than the other?
I place my arm on the bottom piece of the bracelet on a soft blanket over a firm surface. I then place the top part of the bracelet on and then twist in the screw on the side facing me. I then hold the bracelet together while I flip the bracelet over and again keep my arm rested against the surface while I secure the other screw. I put my bracelet on in August and have not had to adjust it since. I wore one before that for a couple of years and never had any issues. I am not very strong but I twisted each screw just slightly past the point when it was easy to twist. I also take a sticker to wrap around the tip of the screwdriver so if I slip, I do not scratch the gold. I hope this makes sense.I'm very curious how you can put the bracelet on yourself. Any tricks?

Yes you can, I think they have fixed the problems with the new screw version ,like someone mention they change little of design on screw inside, hopefully someone can post pictureThank you. It’s good to know that I might be able to put it on myself.
I had some of my screws loosen when I started wearing two. The SA told me the vibration would cause the screws to loosen so I should check them monthly. Even after one week I noticed that I was able to tighten my screws so I knew they were loosening. I decided on some purple loctite and they haven't budged since.
Hi! Where did you place the loctite? How much did you use? thanks!
I followed the advice someone else gave in the discussion thread and I just put a little bit of Loctite onto a plastic baggie and I use the end of a toothpick to just put a tiny bit on the threads of the screws. It doesn’t take much. Just be sure to use the purple (light strength) or you might not get those screws open again
Hi,Hi everyone! Been away for a while but I'm back and thinking (again, sigh!) about the YG LOVE. Just wondering if they have made any changes that you know of to the "new screw system" that was giving everyone so many problems. Mine as you may remember fell right off my wrist while riding my bike.I had no problems whatsoever with the old system but was so fed up with the new one problems (and SO not willing to put lock tight GLUE on an $8K bracelet!) that I just sold them all and walked away.... but am missing having one now.
Has anyone heard any news in the last year or two about what they've done to fix this, if anything?
TIA!
Thanks for sharing this about fashionphile. I've thought of ordering from them in the past, but this has convinced me to avoid them.Hi,
I purchased my white love bracelet at Cartier in London in 2016. I have used (and abused) it and it’s firm. It’s the new screw system. I bought a YG one from fashionphile (horrible customer service) I have to tighten the screws on that non stop and it has fallen twice! I’ve been lucky to actually notice it and pick it up, I think it might actually be fake. I’ve contacted them but they simply don’t care, I’m sending it to Cartier in New York to look at it (250$ plus 5700 For the actual bracelet). I’ve purchased one from therealreal it’s beautiful and it’s never falling off so I would give that side a go, saves you $$$ And they are trustworthy in my opinion.
Good luck.
