Cartier love bracelet or Rolex?

I have a rolex and a love, and tbh, I wish I spent the money I used for the love to invest in another watch (ie another rolex or an AP). Watches hold their value better and are much more functional. In all honesty, the love is super overpriced for what it is, and considering that the value of gold has been dropping and there are still huge price increases, I don't think the love is a great investment piece. Watches are priced very reasonably for their movement and material (obviously there is still a markup on brand named goods), whereas the price of a love is simply ridiculous for what it is...But I would buy what makes you happy!

Hi,
These are my 2 options either the Silver Grey OR Olive Green.
I plan to get it with Diamonds around the bezel.
Which option do you think is better ?

I agree!

I'd go for the Love for three reasons:

1) Unlike two watches, you can wear a watch on one wrist and a Love on the other, or you can stack them on one wrist.

2) A bangle will not require regular $500+ servicing fees, and these fees are less than repairs.

3) Another recent watch thread says that women's Rolexes have lower resale values than men's equivalents (ie 2k back on an 8k watch, or 25%). Love bracelets are unisex and the collection has a high demand 4 decades strong.

Unless you're getting a significantly different watch, like an evening or dress watch to wear on occasions sports watches are inappropriate, it's hard to justify another one IMO.
