I have one pre-owned and one brand new.

for me its a toss-up. Its going to get scratched the moment you put it on... and you could get it at 50% discount. If you get one from Ebay make sure you buy one with box and certificate. Gurantees its real. Bring it to Cartier and they will authenticate.

VuittonsLover - What color are yours? If I have a rg cuff, do you think it would look better with YG or WG bangle? I asked this about a year ago but don't remember if you responsed!

I have a Rose Gold and a Yellow Gold Half Diamond.

To be honest.. I think the rose would look better with the White.

I wish I would have gone that route. The Rose Gold and Yellow Gold look so similar side-by-side. I never thought they would... but they really do.

When I get a chance.. I will try and take a clear photo of the two of em.

it was Double on Double, 10-1 to 10-4 (Saks mails me a reward card based on the double point in few weeks, and the double points still accumulate towards my yearly purchase), plus tax free b/c it's shipped from a different state

VuittonsLover - Thanks for your opinion. I agree that YG & RG are similar looking. Because the RG is so subtle, there is not a lot of contrast between the two. I'm just concerned about scratches looking worse on the white than the yellow. Any opinions on this?

not sure about the white being more scratched.

my yellow and rose are scratched the exact same amount.

was weird... it was sooo sparkly for so long.. and then overnight.. it got scratched beyond belief.. and at the same time. not sure how that happened... lol

That's the thing with gold. Gold is a very soft metal, so any gold jewelry is bound to have scratches. Even a gust of wind can scratch it. On a brighter note, since it is soft, gold is easy to polish. That's why I think eBay route is better. If you manage to buy it cheaper then you can use the extra money to pay for the best jeweler to polish it, a service which probably costs $20-30. And if you want it to shine and look "blingy", you can pay extra bucks to have it dipped in rhodium.
