Do any of you wonderful ladies wear the love bracelet or other Cartier jewelry in a corporate environment and if so, how is it perceived?

I currently do not have any Cartier, but am interested in a few pieces of the love and juc lines. I am wondering if it would be looked down upon or result in not being taken seriously by wearing a love bracelet or love/juc in a corporate environment. If you do wear Cartier to work, please share the type of pieces and whether you have received any comments / different treatment as a result. TIA!

I have my foot halfway through the door in a corporate setting and the other half in clinic and I wear my Cartier bracelet and panthere watch. Most of the time they go unnoticed though because I wear long sleeves or a jacket everyday at work (hospitals are cold lol).

No comments or different treatment of any kind.
There is a general awareness that I have nice things, but if there are other thoughts, people keep it to themselves.
Honestly, the most gossip about me was about my e-ring, haha and that's what still gets the most attention to this day.

However, I have been at my institution for quite some time and worked my way up. People have gotten to know me and what kind of person I am. So I don't feel any kind of judgement based on what I wear or how I dress.

Thank you so much, I appreciate your perspective and the links and will definitely check them out!

No one at my office is into designer things and the mirror finish on the love is stunning but may grab too much attention, which is why I hesitate.

I wear my designer bags and jewelry in my corporate environment. There are a couple of people who love the same types of things, so we check in with each other to admire the items and share ideas. Otherwise, I'm not sure others know what that are. If they do, they haven't said anything.

In my work, I am known to be sparkles bcos I wear all T diamonds (necklace, earrings, e n wedding rings) and my Cartier bracelets are relatively new this year. My boss likes to joke that he pays me too much bcos I drive a Benz while he drives a Mazda & I'm all Tiffany & Cartier bling up. But I tell everyone it's my motivation to be a corporate slave hahaha. Don't get me wrong I don't think I wear over the top. I don't really care what others think, you work hard for it, you earned it & wear it proudly whether at work or cleaning your house.

I don’t worry about being taken seriously. I think that’s not as much of an issue as it used to be, since now there’s so much preloved/dupes/etc so less people will assume things about you.

I do worry about not calling attention to myself, as a personal preference. The key for me is to not wear any items from the love collection. I wear the juc and clash lines and some diamond pieces; it looks like random accessories to the people I work with :) and that’s how I like it.

I see people around work with alhambra and love bracelets and it does grab attention (people comment on them) which I wouldn’t like personally in the work environment. (My sweet alhambra items do fly under the radar).

Its just a personal preference to not call attention to myself for things other than my work. Maybe once I am further along in my career I might change my mind.

Overall, it is all personal preference. When people comment on our pieces it really holds no weight. They can’t fire you because you wear nice things (unless there is some weird policy somewhere). They’ll move on to their own work tasks and whoever is losing sleep over your love clearly has issues and is not worth being concerned with.

Overall, from what you mentioned, the juc I think is more understated but if the love makes you feel happy then buy it and wear it proudly. I love looking down at my pieces while I’m at work, they make me feel happy :)

I was at a law firm in nyc and then went corporate. I work from home except for during work trips which is a week long every month or two. I used to take off all but maybe two cartier bracelets while on these trips. No one else wears anything fancy despite likely being paid more than myself. I wear a goyard St. Louis gm tote and am pretty self conscious about that but it’s just so lightweight, I’ve given up on finding a better replacement. I’ve just been more cognizant of potential negative judgment but I’m nearing 40 so the fear factor of being judged is slowly declining.

I work in a large fortune 50 company in a major city and people come in disheveled and dressed for corporate life. I wear some of my cartier (I do rotate my jewelry) and see plenty of other designer pieces coming/going from campus. No one has ever said anything to me about my jewelry. Not everyone will recognize every piece. If anything, I'm more careful now because I take public transit and crime's up. We should wear what we love.

My everyday stack, I work as a dentist and am 44…I’ve stopped caring what ppl think and just wear what makes me happy….ppl make comments sometimes about how much jewellery am wearing but it’s like water off a ducks back …as long as I’m happy and it’s not affecting my treatment and professional care then it really isn’t anyone’s business but mine IMG_5194.jpeg

I work at an investment bank. I do wear Cartier, VCA, Rolex etc but only 1-2 at a time. I would never wear a stack of bracelets. Usually a ring in addition to my wedding set, my Love bracelet and one other item like 5 motif or a watch. If i wear earrings and necklace, I don't wear bracelets. Everyone in the office knows I am into luxury but I don't care. I LOVE IT TOO MUCH ❤️

Godard is under the radar... unless you know you wouldn't know IMHO.

I need to clarify that I am now retired and a SAHM but when I worked as a Periodontist, my preference was to remove all hand jewellery (rings and bracelets) for clinics and surgeries. So I generally kept those pieces in my bag locked in the office, out of the surgery rooms, until I left work. This was only for infecting control. Cartier (or not) earrings and necklaces I wore throughout the day, as those were not in my way. Only my (sigh) all male colleagues would playfully diss me and call me posh, also referring to my bags, but I was used to that since dental school. Otherwise no one ever commented.
