you need to squeeze the clasp on the sides so it can be fully removed from the safety mechanism. Is that what you're referring to?
Maybe the single earring? Since they are so tiny, I would not do anything to them but bring them in to Cartier.
Hello! Does anyone own the d’amour diamond stud earrings? I am looking for a simple set for everyday wear and think this could be it. I don’t like to take off my earrings when I go to sleep, so something low profile will be great. I am still debating the small or medium model, so would greatly appreciate any thoughts on that too.
I have owned the MM size since 2014 (back then they called them “Diamants Legérs”) and have worn them off and on for years. They are very comfortable and like you, I don’t take my earrings off for long periods of time.
More recently, I have upgraded to the 1895 studs. You might consider those also. The diamonds show more and you can pick the quality of the diamond and size of the diamond.
If you go for the D’amour studs, I would invest in the bigger size. I have posted a pic of them somewhere in this thread a while back.

I own the xs in pink gold and adore them! Personally, I cannot sleep them in them. If you want to sleep in your earrings, definitely go for the small or medium size.
I own the XS earrings since 2-3 years. Wore them until 1 yeare ago in the regular holes 24/7 and 1 year ago I moved them up by a whole and got the small love hoops. Wearing all of them 24/7.
I would dearly love to know as well, only VCA has been able to do so for me. So far Cartier has declined any post alterations. However I do need to add that my newest Panthere earrings posts are now noticeably thinner and longer. I believe Cartier had addressed this issue for us with newer models. Which design are yours?
Unless the policy changed, the alterations should be free the first time. I had my backings changed on my single Love studs (the screw ball backings were a nightmare) to butterfly backings, and it was done for free.
