Thewildraven - I totally agree! I am still mad at Van Cleef for dropping my 10 motif $550 in price less than 3 weeks after my purchase. I have a store credit for the amount but have no interest in using it anytime soon.
I was just in the boutique on Friday and totally didn't know this! Else I would have tried on the Francaise as I've been considering it. Do you feel the Francaise is more classic/iconic than the Anglaise? Hmmm....I may need to run back to the store, too!
Honestly I like the Anglaise the best... but you can't beat that price decrease! I've been really back and forth, but I think they are both classic Cartier! I'm thinking I may still end up doing an Anglaise though.
That would have really annoyed me too & put me off them for a very long time
