Hi all - I had an email from Cartier regarding a security breach. I’m not worried but did anyone receive the same? The following is an excerpt:

We are writing to inform you that an unauthorised party gained temporary access to our system and obtained limited client information. We contained the issue and have further enhanced the protection of our systems and data. We have also informed the relevant authorities and are working with leading external cybersecurity experts.

Based on the investigation, we determined that this incident may have affected some of your information, specifically your name, e-mail address, country and date of birth. The affected information did not include any passwords, credit card details or other banking information.

Yes, got the same this morning and was going to post it here straightaway but you beat me to it.
Don’t know if I should be worried, apparently they only got country, name and email. Still a bummer. Looks like buying online will come with more risks now across the luxury (and non M&S for example) platforms :(

Got one too, they used my surname when addressing me. I think it’s legit unfortunately. M&S still struggling after their cyberattack…Possibly these things will be getting more common in the future unless online retail world wakes up and secures themselves better.
Every company, even small, should have a cybersecurity department or at least a person who deals with it.
The times we live in…
