I would like to get it for my mom but right now the only bag she carries is the Chelsea Large Hobo and she loves it. I was thinking that the medium would be a close size to hers and maybe the zipper would be the only noticable difference.

The strap does fit comfortably on my shoulder (and I have broad shoulders if that makes a difference). The strap is fairly long, not as long as a duffle, but the bag isn't in my armpit either - I would say the purse winds up about midway between my armpit and elbow (it's comparable to the drop on my Legacy Shoulder Bag if that helps). Hope that helps! I'm sure your mom would love it! The medium is very roomy too!
Thank you. She just bought the shoulder zip Legacy today so I would think that she would like it. Now it is just deciding what color she would want in it.

I'm so excited - the store at KOP ordered this for me today and gave me the 25% off. I think it's because there's a store nearby that has them in stock (Walnut St store in Philly). I got it in the black/black. They said it comes in 5 different color/hardware choices.
I was having 2nd thoughts about the Ali in signature/gold that I had ordered, so I'm thrilled to be getting this one instead.

It was the Coach right by NM and LV. I think that's the Plaza? I don't live in Philly - just out here a lot for business. They said Walnut Street has them if you want to look. Style # was 106919P that they ordered for me. I guess I just got lucky with the SA that helped me.
As far as color combos, I think in signature it comes in black/black, khaki/black, khaki/saddle, khaki/angora (white), khaki/gold.

I would love to see the khaki w/ blue. Here's a carly that was just added to the site. I still like the signature better then this one.
