Oh I see, and in my opinion they are fairly priced and my basis is not so much the canvas/materials used but the craftsmanship, attention to detail and labor that goes into them.
The picnic Birkin or picnic Kelly use significantly less leather and Osier wicker which to some, may seem like those cost less than leather but again, in my opinion they are fairly priced based on the labor that goes into them.
My great grandfather and grandfather made saddles for all their horses. Later made a small business out of it and moved on to mens belts and unisex leather sandals. Nothing like H but to watch them in action was so inspirational growing up I guess that’s why I love anything handmade and leather especially

My ancestors are also leather workers too.

In India, leather workers are seen as poor and dirty. To this day, many people talk about people from the Leather community with disgust. I feel extremely privileged to be from this community and also owning the best leather bags in the world.

We passed on one in Oct 2022 so I feel there are some floating around. My neighbor got offered a Kelly with the plastic still on the box with a stampdate date from 2020. Have seen offers come through with stampdates 2 years old but have heard about then being as old as 3 to 4 haven't seen those just heard about them.

Np! It's just an internal catalog with everything that's available for a season, I think? I'm not sure exactly how comprehensive it its, but my SA and I go through it sometimes to get a rough idea of what's coming this season.

The stamp inside is B - so I guess it must've been produced in 2023

How is the weight of the B35 cargo compared to leather B35s?

Lighter than all leathers? Heavier than Epsom but lighter than clemence? Any reference point would be helpful.

Some of these LE bags really have surprised me in weight (the heaviest one I have isn’t a full leather one!)

The one I have is heavy, I wouldn't say it's as heavy as my togo or clemence 35's, but it certainly isn't on the lightweight side.

I must also admit, that I use it mainly as a hand carry-on during flights, so I tend to fill her at max capacity.

Hi has anyone sent their cargo birkin to H spa and knows how much the cleaning would cost? Does H clean the toile areas at all or would that be something they specifically exclude?
