Hi Everyone !
i am thinking about to buy a capucines. I am still in doubt
between bb and mini ... (bb preferred.. i think)

but I see very few exotics online. never bought before either!
and I saw an (old) orange lizard leather on google.

does anyone know the price of lizard leather mini and bb? and do they come in different colors every season? I cant find information about it online !!

TIA!

I have a capucines bb and its a good size for me. the mini would have been too tiny for my liking and more of a weekend bag only. guess it depends on what you need to bring and whether this is an occasion bag?

well i never have very much in my bag so that Would be no issue .
I Would like to use it for day bag AND night bag but i dont know if the bb is a bit too big as an night bag ...?

If you have a flagship store they might some items for you to look at. For my store, I would have to set up a video appointment with New York to see what they have to offer. The size difference between the mini and bb size is a couple of inches, but it seems to make a huge difference when you look at them on the model.

For me, if I were looking for an evening bag in exotic then I would go for the mini. I think the BB is just a bit too big in size. It also helps that the mini in croc is more than $8k cheaper than the BB.

My SA offered me an exotic last week. LV only made three for the world and it was in the mini size. It was a no go for me. I couldn't put my iPhone in sideways. It had to be standing up and the top of my phone was sticking out. I'm still searching for my perfect bb. My phone fits in the bb perfectly.

Does anyone know among the exotics which is most durable and less maintenance?! Crocodile, Pythons, Alligator, or Ostrich? Please advise, thanks in advance
Ostrich, as long as the color is not pale.

Agree, Ostrich is the most durable but still not entirely immune to staining and things like that.

Alligator/Croc/lizard are all really quite delicate and basically can’t get wet at all.

Python isn’t quite as delicate in the same way but the scales do tend lift so you do have to kind of baby python items.

Thank you for the reply. If Ostrich is most resilient among exotic then how is it compared to lamb skin? More care or less?
They are very different leathers and prone to different risks. For my exotics, my dark green ostrich has been very durable, more so than my lambskin items. Lambskin is more prone to stuffing or denting, and ostrich is a firm skin, very different. Ostrich can be prone to discoloration and suntanning in lighter colors. @pixiestyx00 has given a very comprehensive answer above.
