Help ladies!!
I got this lovely little number in the beginning of Jan this year. I was on waiting list for a month and got her. I've worn it ONCE since making the purchase since was afraid of the cold weather cracking the canvas.
After watching a youtuber's review on this bag, I decided to inspect it closely this morning.
AND I FOUND PEELING/FRAYING of the glazing on the back leather part...
I found 3 in total, the first 2 (in picture 1) were small so I just picked them off with my fingers thinking it was nothing and didn't take pictures ...
then i found the bigger one at the corner (picture 2, 3)...
I've never encountered something like this before, what would you ladies suggest?
Thanks a bunch <3

Shouldn’t be a problem, if you don’t want to pick off the big one yourself, take it into LV and either they will do it at the boutique or send it in for repair.

It is normal though!

That has happened to many of my pieces. It’s probably just extra glazing that flakes off. It shouldn’t be a problem. By looking at your pics, it seems you are zoomed in quite a bit. I hope you would just enjoy your lovely piece and not worry about things until they happen. Like you said, it’s hard to obtain and LV will take care of you in the event something does happen down the line.

+1

YouTube is the worst, blowing tiny little normal imperfections (I feel silly saying this, these are made by humans and machines after all and we’re not perfect) out of proportion. Please just enjoy your bag and don’t worry about every little thing. PS. I wear my LV canvas out in -40 weather. Nothing has happened. The bag is 10+ years old.

I would take your bag into the store and see what they tell you. I’m sure they’ll take care of you. They definitely won’t be able to fix the canvas so hopefully will give you store credit

Hi, anyone ever experience LV Mono canvas print peel out?

I have mini palm spring for 3 years and carry her for travelling. And last year she started peel out around the main zipper and I thought it was because of the zipper scratching while I open and close the bag.

This year I also travel with her and realized another part of the bag near the handle started to peel out. I’m thinking is it the sunblock I wear? Or is it because of sun exposure?

I walk under the sun for hours.. but I heard about the print fading out , but never peeling out.

Please help if anyone have the answers.

Simply take the bag to your SA. This particular item is plagued with problems.
