CANVAS BROWN HAMPTONS SATCHEL...Anyone but my SA love it in Brown and Satin?

Rainbow I saw them when I was in the store but I also had the Andrea satchel in cognac and took it back because I have the whiskey satchel although I would prefer the Andrea in cognac. I prefer the leather bags and I just look at those new neutral canvas bags and the price, I would get them dirty fast and I cannot reason the price for canvas but the leather I can. If you like it then keep it but for me I know I would be over paranoid trying to keep it clean.
Yes, I must remember that I go to Starbucks too (another addiction to conquer) and spill a lot in the car. This is extemely true. My bags need to be durable too as well as pretty. Thanks:love:

Well, I finally found a Whiskey Shoulder bag from the distribution center and is it new and in great condition, so I brought back my whiskey hippie. Although it is bit heavier on the shoulder, and my neck and back hurts a bit, there is no way I am bringing it back. Also I saw the new line at the stores yesterday and My SA talked me into a 500 something Hamptons canvas and leather satchel...I think it is like the Andrea in person and comes in Brwon, green, red and white. it is a beautiful bag but it is heavy too. I think this sounds really silly but I weighed the whiskey and it is not that much different than the canvas satchels or the signature satchel. Only by a few ounces. Anyone like the new canvas satchel from the catolog? not the tote, the brown that is pictured in green and white? Beautiful bag in person but did i just spend 500.00 and change on a canvas bag?

Yes, it is me again and for all of your good advice I sadly parted with my hamptons canvas satchel. it was pretty, boo hoo, but it was not my cup of tea. Am I done yet? Rainbow

My COACH store knows what I like and is very honest with me on purses [telling me the pros/cons of certain fabrics, colors, and styles]. So I would say, be honest with yourself. If you love the purse, by all means, keep it. If not, it's wasted space and money that could be used towards a purse that you could love more.

Don't spend all that money on a canvas bag you do not absolutely love.
I own the Legacy Shoulder Bag in whiskey and the Ali Bag in Whiskey which
I do love. I can't see spending all that money on a Canvas Bag. If you want a Canvas Bag for the Spring check out the Isaac Mizrahi Line for Target.
They have some cute bags (even a hobo in canvas) which I absolutely love.
I got a Canvas tote from the Isaac Mizrahi Line for target and it is really nice.
It has turnlock details which I like with faux cognac leather trim. Here is a picture of it. I love Coach, really I do, but I will not spend that kind of money on a canvas bag which I will most likely ruin. I use my inexpensive bags when we have bad weather in NYC which is practically the whole month of February and April.

Target : Isaac Mizrahi for Target® Tote - Natural

Good Luck!

Thanks Liz!!!..I understand that this months "In Style" features Target will be producing a canvas type "Tommy Bahama bag and jacket to match" It is really cute and comes in brown and fuchia tropical prints. I am in agreement. I love my whiskey shoulder bag, one of the last available. The Ali is just too heavy. But I am thinking of returning my denim resort shoulder bag for the strap is braided and very wide and maybe my scribble...just do not know for I simply love the Mandy in signature. .What do you think?? If you love the scribble you should go for that one. It is light in weight and the colorful patterns should not get too dirty - the price is also affordable.
I had a Mandy Courier in all black leather and found it had just a bit too much
hardware for my taste. The Mandy in Signature should be more lightweight,
so that may work out for you. If you like hobos Coach will have the Ergo
hobo in Signature - I see it is offered on their website as well. Here is the link. Whatever you decide on I am sure you well make the best choice for you. Good Luck!
