Can you purchase replacement straps for Evelyne?

Hello, sorry to resurrect an old thread--but saw it and it fit my question perfectly.

I was interesting in purchasing an Evelyne II (to get the back pocket)--but also need an adjustable strap, as I am tall.

Does anyone have any recent experience with the price of a new adjustable strap from Hermes (and wait time)?

Also is the etsy shop referenced above (that was closed) now this shop?

I can’t answer your first question but yes, the Etsy shop is the old Shoulderbagstrap. While her shop has changed names, seller name has always been Irene. I have ordered at least a dozen custom straps from her over the last two years and she has been wonderful to work with.

For those who are interested, as of April 2025, Hermes will extend the strap of a vintage Evelyne 1. In my case, they reused the original hardware and leather ends, merely replacing the center fabric strap with one that was 8" longer (my requested length; not sure if there are guidelines on what lengths they will/will not do). It cost $240 and took about three months.
