Can you help me decide?

You may have seen my similar post. I decided to get the mono speedy 30. IMO the Damier pattern suits a structured bag like the Ribera or Belem while Mono suits a unstructured bag like the Speedy. (I absolutely adore my mono Speedy 30 btw and my next bag will probably be a mono BH)

You only have a 1.5 weeks to go until the Damier Speedy is out so why dont you wait and see them in real life? That will be the best way for you to decide.

Thanks everyone on your input! It seems so split right now and I agree with all your suggestions

The mono is classic and I could always get the damier but I think after this purchase I won't be getting purses any time soon b/c I have to start paying back loans. So that's why the decision is so difficult b/c it will be my last purchase for months.

The damier will outlast weather elements and I won't have to worry about the vachetta either, there seems to be pros and cons to each pattern and I know I won't go wrong with either. But like I said I won't be buying another bag for awhile so I want to feel like I made the right choice.

I agree that the Monogram Speedy is a classic...is the Damier something you think you might tire of? Sometimes I think I like a pattern, but months later realize that it's not as interesting to me anymore.
