I tried it in the store and it does fit like that. I like it close though so I guess its personal preference.

They're the same bag, unless you're talking about the mini pochette accessoires with the chain strap...

I have both bags (Pochette Accessories and Recital). The recital has a longer strap and fits a good amount of stuff because it's wider than the pochette. Though sometimes it's a challenge to get the magnetic snap (of the flaps) to line up and "snap." The pochette fits better into larger totes than the recital. I find it is more sleek especially for a night out or when you're on-the-go.
