i usually carry it on my shoulder and the length of the strap is just right (i have really thin arms). but i still bought the extender because it makes the very simple pochette look better

I love my Recital. It is comfortable to wear on the shoulder and I am not petite! (5'7, size 10) I also like it because of the raspberry lining and you can fit a surprising amount in it for a small bag.

I highly recommend getting an extender! I have one for each of my pochettes...which is like 6, haha. Pochettes are so much more comfortable under your shoulder when you have an extender on

I have fairly thick arms and it fits in my armpit. a little snugly but not in a bad way. I love mine!
