Hi all, I have seen that Zeko seems to be the go to for Chanel authentication - anyone know if authenticating Chanel metal plaque bags are now common enough with positive results back? Just worried as I heard they’re a bit harder to authenticate vs old stickers/cards. Any insights on how these are done / authenticated by these 3rd party companies?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. But if I need to get the bag spa’d by Chanel for the twisted chain issue on the mini 17b and they accept it, does that automatically mean it’s authentic? I know Hermes won’t service an inauthentic bag. Thanks !

This is my first time buying preloved. Do I send the bag to Zeko? or is it just pictures?
Depends on the bag but I’ve only sent pictures. They have to be very, very detailed though, with some parts shot from specific angles. Zeko will provide samples of what you should be focusing on. I’ve had five bags authenticated by her and she was great. If the photos are not right she will ask you to re-take.

Just wondering what they charge for Chanel mini Graffiti...

Hi, can anyone recommend a highly trusted authenticator that do online images?

I'm in Australia and many of these authenticators here uses Entrupy which I don't trust. The only one I know that might be reputable here in Australia is Royal Bag Spa, but that's in Melbourne and I'm in NSW. I'll have to ship my bag to them and I don't feel very comfortable doing that just yet unless I have no other options.

I did a bit of research and I know Authenticate4u is highly recommended, but when I tried to msg them on FB, they have an auto-reply saying that they are closed due to ongoing family emergency with no return date.
I also saw that Zeko is one of the recommended but I'm a bit confused at why their prices are so high compared to Authenticate4u? Even for just a verbal confirmation of whether or not the bag is authentic/counterfeit is USD50. If that's the norm then I'll happily pay & use their service.

Are there any other trusted Chanel authenticators you guys know and can recommend? Many thanks!!
Can I ask who you ended up going with? And whether you used Royal Bag Spa at all? Thank you

Be warned, the newer better made fakes (not just Chanel), are extremely difficult to tell apart from authentic ones even you hold them side by side to compare, in person.

How can you tell they are fakes? lots of knowledge and extemely careful, and some needed tools.

Hi all! I am very new to Chanel and bought a beautiful re-issue from Madison Avenue Couture. The bag is in unused condition and comes with its original retail UPC and COA card. Would it be recommended to still get it authenticated from a third party? Thanks!

I bought a classic flap from Redeluxe. This is my first redeluxe purchase. Any time I buy a Chanel or Hermes from a site, I get it authenticated.

I am using Zeko for the first time. They seem great! The communication is awesome however, I have taken 83 pictures, doing my best to have it natural light, up close, in focus but I am using an iPhone (a newish model) and they have rejected almost every single photo saying it needs to look EXACTLY like the sample they sent to me.

The CF is a small and I am starting to get worried about the manipulation I am doing to the bag to get the “perfect” pic of the serial number and the “perfect” pic of the inside of the inside base of the turnlock. I don’t want to cause damage to the bag and I am starting to feel like I will not be able to get the pics EXACTLY like they want them. They offered me a refund because they could tell I was getting frustrated. Part of me says go with another authenticator or just enjoy the bag.

To be clear, they are not saying that the bag isn’t authentic and they want better pics, they won’t even start the authentication process because they are saying my pics aren’t good enough.

I have had many places authenticate such as Bababebi and have never experienced such a hassle. Help!

I know they are the best but to show what I mean, these are the pictures they are rejecting. Not because they believe the bag to be fake but because they don’t like the picture.
