can i wear a too small jacket as a layer?

sorry. it just looks too small.
you must really love that jacket if you're willing to change your body for it!
personally I wouldn't use size label as a definite (reference), more of a guide...
the arms look just right/a bit snug, but the front is weird for me. I don't think it's worth it--
if you want to lose the weight anyways that's a good reward to look forward to (and more shopping because then none of your other clothes will fit)
but if you like yourself the way you are I would pass--
& remember (not this in particular but in general) just because it says xs doesn't mean it's really xs--some
companies cut it larger..some cut it smaller and there's nothing wrong with having a M, I have an old trench from

The jacket is too small and I doubt you are going to be comfortable wearing it. Something else nice will come your way.

This company obviously sizes large to flatter women -- thats why they make XXS too! I'm a medium or large for sure. BUT I LOVE THE CUT OF THIS COAT!
PS. someone was telling me today that they just read an article that mens clothing stores are doing vanity sizing now. so you're buying a 30 but its actually a 32!!!
PPS. i'm losing 20lbs because i'm on weight watchers and need too -- not to fit into this jacket! but i just dont' want to return it if it might fit once i reach my goal weight... i haven't found another leather trench i like nearly as much
and this was only $200... i can't afford full retail Mackage!sigh

^i know, thats why while i am still considering myself a S i can easily fit into xxs/xs depending on the designer
