Can a 3-year-old purse that was never used be "unoxidized" ??

All my rare pieces are stored in their bags and boxes and are still in pristine condition. The hide is like skin, so the more it is exposed to light it is, the more it will darken. Anything I carry during the day is darker than my evening bags.

I have White Multi Speedy that is 1 1/2 years old and I used it 2-3 times and it is in a sleeper in my closet and LOOKS BRAND NEW.NO PATINA change at all (YES ITS REAL..GOT IT AT LV)
I have alot of bags that LOOK BRAND NEW,,My closet has a/c in it and everything stays cool MAYBE THAT IS WHY..

I bought my speedy two months or so ago and used it daily for about a month and it started to get a nice patina. For the past month its been in my closet, without the dustbag and hasnt shaded one bit!
Totally possible.

Could it be affected by how the temperature of the room is or where the bags were stored. Cause i noticed I never carry my MC speedy but the patina is almost similar to the MC alma I carry everyday and I jsut noticed that the closet I put my bags in is in a very hot temperature sensitive room (its gets hot and cold easily)

My Mono Ellipse and Pap 30 haven't seen the light of day more than twice each in the past 6 years. Both have patinaed a bit - the Pap looks lighter, almost new. I store all my bags in their dust bags in a wardrobe with a door.

Thank you. Whew!! Thank God I'm not the only one!! Maybe my closet gets hot inside and that does have something to do with it???? I don't have air conditioning in there. Good to know I'm not the only one this happend to  .

I think it's all about light - the skin on our bodies that is exposed to sunlight looks a whole lot different than the parts that never see the light of day - I know that sounds weird but it makes sense to me.

I've had both results. My cabas piano oxidized after wearing it twice and being stored in a dust bag in a box for over a year. It has a beautiful even patina. On the other hand, I have another mono that I haven't used and has been stored the same way and has not changed a bit! I guess it depends on the length of time and where its stored and if you have worn it. Has anyone ever asked an lv sa?
