Last year I asked the store only for Chevre leather. They only had rose extreme-chamkila and some brown colour. Recently was shown some colour in epsom. A bit hard to choose between blue and green. Anyhow vert fizz won, even though it’s not in my prefer leather.

Wow! Love the shade of blue. I almost pulled the trigger on a Rouge H Bastia in Madame Leather but decided against it. How does Madame Leather compare to Epsom Leather? I've heard it's very similar but Madame has a much smaller embossed grain than Epsom, and that it is very soft compared to Epsom.
I’m not a fan of Epsom leather for SLG. I only have SLGs in Evercolor, Mysore, Chamkila and Madame. Madame is stiffer than Evercolor, more scratch resistant. Yes, embossed grain is smaller and not as stiff as Epsom. I would love Rouge H color but since it was an online purchase, colors and leathers are limited, more so when it’s a Calvi Duo. Madame’s stiffness is great for Bastia, compared to Evercolor, too soft for its purpose.
Would you say that Madame is best for longevity and durability from your personal experience? I think evercolor looks great, but its better for bags imo. Not sure if I'd ever get anything in Mysore or Chamkila as those are goatskins, which can be quite soft and loose shape/warp a lot over time.
Yes, I prefer Madame but can’t comment on the wear and tear yet. Chamkila is coated therefore stiffer than Mysore.

Wow! I love the Vert Fizz Calvi as Vert Fizz is one of my favourite H colours! You've been getting so many Calvis lately... congrats to you for all these amazing scores! Yes, me too. I have a pretty good collection of Rodeos, but 90% are the Pegasus variation...as DH approves of those over the regular horse.
