I love it, and have used this one just about every day for over a year. Interestingly, it was scratched when the SA took it out of the drawer, but really has not added many more with use. I ask in every H store I pass anywhere "Have any interesting Calvis or Bastias?" You never know what might be lurking in the bottom drawer that time ( and the SAs) forgot!

Got super lucky to get a Calvi Duo in my favorite Hermes colour Bambou! Jumped at the chance and I love how functional and simple it is. Can’t wait to get a ton of use out of this “quiet luxury” piece! My first Hermes piece and I don’t think it’ll be my last :heart:

I thought i was almost done my calvi duo collection except noir but seeing your bambou one makes me want to change my mind.

I know this is a late response! For me, I asked my SA about it during an in-store visit. My SA notified me the next time it came into the boutique and I bought it then.

Hi all, I've gone back a few pages and spotted some helpful comments, but for anyone who has a Calvi or Bastia in both Epsom and Swift leather, how have you found the relative wear of each? Obviously it depends on how you use them but any experiences are welcome.

I have two Epsom items and I'm thinking of ordering a Bastia in Swift. I realise it might not be as hard-wearing but the leather is so lovely to touch and it takes color so well.

For a calvi I think you would be okay but for a bastia i would suggest sticking with epsom if you put coins in it. My chevre got way too soft.

Echoing your love with Calvi. It is a slippery slope and I've never looked back after the first one. In addition to using it like a mini wallet on a small handbag, the best thing I like about the Calvi is that it is do no arm to the interior of my H bags. There are no metal logo or zippers so I can throw in my B or K without a bag insert.

Check out Evercolour or Chèvre as options too. They take colour well and are quite durable.

I have a Bastia in Evercolour (shows some pocket indentation after a few years) and two Calvis in chèvre which look pretty much brand new.
