I might have seen it on a post in one of the earlier posts in this thread, possibly a shot taken at FSH. There are some traditional wallet types that are made with matte croc or gator.
You have such a beautiful collection and I love how you organized it! Thank you for sharing with us all, it really makes me happy to see them!
Thank you! I have the entire collection sitting in an open case on a chair in my bedroom now. The rainbow of colors cheers me up whenever I look at my collection while I sit at home waiting for the lockdown to be lifted.
I believe I saw one in a display case in early March. I didn’t look at it up close but it was most likely noir. However, it’s possible it could have been a very dark shade of blue matte gator?

I have seen it before. If you are after one, checking with your SA is probably best. I don’t see many alligator ones floating around in general.
Thank you both for the confirmation! Unfortunately, I think all US stores are closed now because of COVID19. But I may be wrong!
The U.S. stores are indeed closed, as is the website (at least for shipping, one can still make purchases). I have been texting with my SA with a wishlist for when this is over (both of us are pretty bored...), so if you have one, I am sure s/he would love to add it to your wishlist. Otherwise, wait for when the stores re-open!
Yup, quoting AnnaE's post below. Stores in US are indeed closed. I was able to get my matte alligator calvi through my SA who looked for it just so I could get the exact color I wanted.

I kinda went a bit nuts just before the h.com shut down because of the pandemic.I saw a bunch of colors I didn’t already have and decided why not since I wouldn’t be doing any shopping for the next few months. I didn’t see any ostrich or box leather Calvis listed so I’ll still be hunting for examples of those leathers when things open back up. The rose jaipur I ended up putting with the reds. I saw that you keep them out so you can enjoy looking at them - what a lovely idea! I started using my was-in-a-drawer Bastia for something totally silly (keeping earplugs in my nightstand - had ear surgery so for me they have to stay super clean and I can't just drop em in there). Would love to find some new ways to use my extra Calvis too - gives me such pleasure
So... on that note, what sorts of things do you use your Calvis for? I'm not dumb

I have one in my bag with my daily "kit" but would love to find ways to use my other ones, even if just around the house! Using your Bastia for ear plugs is not silly at all! I use one of my epsom Bastias for carrying airpods and another one for mints. I just started my Calvi collection, so I currently use the Calvi to keep dental floss in it, I like to have it on hand when out or travelling. Small size tampons (pardon me) would fit perfectly in it too, If you don’t mind your Calvi loosing just a bit of it’s shape.
Good call on the floss - I keep floss packets in my Calvi with my "daily kit" If you're not attached to the picks, these are so much smaller (like a very thin bandaid) and no risk of puncturing the inside of the Calvi with the pointy pick ends - this isn't exactly the one I bought recently but it's the same idea https://www.amazon.com/Floss-Singles-Dispenser-Light-Green/dp/B0074IQ5HI
Love the idea of tiny tampons! I'm one of those people who's always used applicators, but maybe I'll learn to use the teensy ones! At least Playtex recently came out with "click" style ones where the applicator is half the size... still too big for a Calvi though.
Thank you for sharing the floss packages you use, love them! I usually use the ones with the round ens (where the toothpick is hidden), but could no longer find them in my regular supermarket, a lot of items seem to be missing because of Covid19.
