Thank you! Yes I use it mostly for cards and cash sometimes. When traveling, I use it for jewelries, medicines and other little knick knacks that I bring that I don’t want to misplace.
Can anybody please a picture of a calvi in action - with something in it?
yay twins! anemone and chevre is just gorgeous! i love it!Here is mine - twinsies! Thank you for the inspiration![]()
I love the Chevre leather! The sheen is so lovely and it's nice and soft (unlike Epsom) and flatter (thinner maybe?) than some of the other leathers.
@Iffi Here are some photos of what I keep in my main Calvi that lives in my handbag at all times - this is my "everything i need on a daily basis" kit. When I go on a quick walk or want to not take a handbag, I put my drivers license, a credit card and a bill or two of cash in there too - it's perfect, everything is together and I'm never without my "needs" kit! Here's what I keep in this Calvi: Side one: I have a few bandaids, two alcohol handwipes, a floss packet (completely flat and best thing EVER). Side two: three tiny ziplocks (these ones): one with advil/tylenol, one with a couple of blisterpacks of my critical meds (and a few sheets of non-powdery oil blotting paper tucked in), and one with a nail file that I've cut down to size to fit in the ziplock (so it doesn't scratch anything). When I fold the Calvi shut sometimes I put a tiny cuticle nipper along the fold which fits in really nicely (not pictured). It took me a while to get pared down to just my essentials (and some effort to find the smallest way to carry everything) but it's been very well worth it to know all my essentials are with me at all times in such a pretty carrycase.
FYI, my other Calvi I only grab it when I need my spare cards (membership cards, gift cards, library card, random store credit cards etc.). Otherwise it just lives in my kitchen ready to go whenever I need to stick it in my bag. For what it's worth, I find the Calvi to be a bit too thick and "sticky-outty" at the corners when filled with cards. I don't even fill mine very full and still it feels bulky. I know the purpose is to hold cards but I don't love it for that purpose.
Thanks! Did I miss that you have the same one too @odette57?yay twins! anemone and chevre is just gorgeous! i love it!![]()
