Calling for Tiffany DBTY owners!! Do you regret for not getting a bigger diamond?

I have the .08 platinum dbty, but in the bracelet. It is a small diamond but it's true that it is so sparkly and really does have so much presence. Looking at it makes me happy! I don't regret not choosing a larger stone.

Agree. I just purchased the .07 rose gold DBTY bracelet last night! It was so brilliant for such a small stone.

Also, I sort of think the whole point of DBTY is to be dainty/subtle, not to be blingy.

*****UPDATE*****

I just got my 0.08 DBTY. I think it's sparkly and beautiful. However, it keeps flipping and doesn't sit still in the center.

I'm not sure if it's because its small size. I'm petite and 16 inch chain looks perfectly on me.

it's going to flip and move around, it's just the design of the necklace and you have to accept that it will do this.

my diamond bow moves around and it's heavier then my dbty, because it's a necklace and not a pendant when you move your neck the chain will move causing the diamond to shift and or flip. it will keep flipping back though :smile1:

The smaller diamonds do tend to flip a lot. It's too light weighted. Larger ones usually are better.

Yes it always flips back;) I believe 0.08 is enough sparkly under highlight, a little underwhelming under natural light though.

I have the .08 in yellow gold and love it! I went through a phase when I didn't wear it much and considered selling it but since I bought my yellow gold oval key I now wear it a lot more as it looks gorgeous layered with it. I never regretted the size though - I had a .25 diamond solitaire pendant to begin with (non Tiffany's) which I wear when I want to wear something bigger so only bought the DBTY for layering purposes, for which it is perfect as it is so small and sparkly. Anything bigger than a .14 or so wouldn't have the right proportions layered, imo. I also bought mine on an 18" chain as I think the length looks better on me. It does flip occasionally but not much.

Edit: just read the latest posts - my bigger diamond pendant also flips (despite being in a four prong rather than bezel setting too) so I really think these sorts of pendants/necklaces will do this sometimes.

I must be in the minority LOL I have the .14 dbty and I wish mine was smaller! like 0.07 or .08. I think the tiny/daintiness is part of the look, and I prefer the dbty with little diamonds.
