Well, our first round with this designer was a bad one - we ordered the set, which was a three-band way for them to charge a lot of money for poor quality... I posted this ordeal on another thread here.

We returned the first set and tracked down the engagement ring by itself. We sought out the same gemologist that had broke the news to us on the set and found out we'd gotten much higher quality stones this time around. Here we go:

Total of 3/4 carat Calla Cut stones, VS2, color grade G.

Here is my band and my e ring. The Band is .51ct and the e ring is .65ct I love love love my rings. We have .51ct loose princess cut stones that will be put into another band matching my wedding band this christmas

Todays finger adornment include a Lori Bonn Faceted Tigers Eye, the daily Lyric's, a diamond nugget ring inherited from my grandmother that I had dipped (don't wear yellow gold) and a pearl diamond pendant she gave me for high school grad that I had turned into a pinky ring.

Adding mine to this thread! There have been a few - upgrade after upgrade. My first diamond was one I bought myself as a 10 year anniversary gift - so no sentimental attachment to stop me from upgrading! The one I have in the works now, though, will be my forever keeper!

Ring size is 6.

And last, still in progress, is my new 3.00ct L, VS2 Antique Asscher which is in the process of being set by Leon Mege in a 5 stone ring with trap and bullet sides (K, VS).

I believe this will be my final ring! My sweet spot for size is 8-8.5mm and color is K/L/M/N. I never dreamed I'd find a vintage asscher - very special! I feel so lucky to have it!
