Compared to some of the giant rocks on this site, my ring is just a baby, but I love it to death.
It's a 1.33 carat emerald cut diamond E, VS1, flanked by two .24 and .12 baguettes on either side, set in platinum. The photo doesn't really do it justice, in natural light it's so sparkly and gorgeous.

You all have beautiful rings!! Mine do not compare, but I'll post them anyway! LOL! I wanted this ring so bad, It's a 1 carat princess cut. Then my wedding bands are 1/2 carat each. I got the one on the top when I got married, then the one on the bottom was my 1 year anniversary present! I tried on a 2 carat solitare, and it was way huge on my finger. (I'm very petiete person). I love my rings! Sorry my pics are not better. (I did not realize how hard it is to take pics of them!) LOL!
Here's my triple threat (LOL). Ering set in Platinum about 1.2 carats total weight, eternity band as my wedding ring .5 carats total weight, and a surprise 1 year anniversary ring by Christian Bauer (my dream ring) called the Starlight (not sure of weight, set in platinum).
Hubby's ring looks like the one shown, couldn't get him to let me take a pic w/out thinking I was totally nuts. Tt's by Jeff Cooper.
Btw, the pic is upside down, I wear the anni ring, then the wedding ring then the ering from top to bottom. This is also the best pic I could get, don't know how everyone else gets such magazine quality shots.

This is my 2 year anniversary ring that I wear on my left hand...My wedding band is 1920's Vintage Platinum so I am TERRIFIED to wear it all the time! Anyway, pics of my rings!

Gosh - why don't my hands and nails look like them when I wear dark nail polish - they look great. Not to mention the lovely rings too!

This is mine. 1 ct Lucida from Tiffany's, just upgraded from my old ring last month.The band is simple platinum, also Lucida. I love these rings, but I'm hoping I can get a half circle diamond band some day.
I love these rings - so simple and not too big.
The first ring is a Jade ring that belonged to my mum. It was part of a pair of earrings that her mum had. 1 earring was made into a pendant for my auntie and the other my mum had made into a ring.
She gave this to me a couple of years ago because I would love it and would wear it more than her now - and I do. I always remember my mum wearing it when I was little.
The second photo shows an Antique Garnet and Diamond ring that was my Great Auntie's Engagement Ring - when my Great Uncle died (who was more like a Grandad to me) he gave this to my mum to give to me when I was old enough. It has really ornate casings for the stones but the camera wouldn't show it. The diamonds are tiny, just above where the Garnets meet.

You're very lucky you got a 5th anniversary present - I've had to wait until our 10th anniversary (in July) until I get an Eternity ring - I've told my DH that it better be worth waiting for! Ha!
