So, Michaelkors.ca has opened this month. I have noticed some differences in prices on some bags so far, eg. the Large Jet set crossbody $148, it is $168 on the Canadian site now.
Other bags like the Selma (in all sizes) seem to be the same price.
There are some variances between the two versions of the site on what is now available in colors and sizes of some items.
I noticed HUGE differences between the prices on clothing.
I understand duty is a factor, but until now the prices in Canadian stores have always reflected the prices online. Are the prices in stores going to slowly start changing and becoming more than the original tagged prices?

Post any price differences or item differences you may see here.
Us Canadian girls need to stick together ;)

Thanks for the post! I notice the new option shipping to Canada too! One things I'm not happy about is the sale items! We have a lot smaller selection than the US site and the sales are not as good. I think the in-store sales are actually better

I am wondering if they still charge duty on top of the price, or if the price is as shown! It is coming from .ca after all, and free shipping right now it says. Would save me gas since the closest store is an hour away. IF I don't have to pay any duty.

I tried checking out without going through the final payment and the total amount payable doesn't include tax, which make sense because otherwise who would purchase online :D

Very good question! i wonder if anything is listed in the CS area, perhaps shoot off an email that always worries me getting nailed with heavy import fees.

Just made my first online purchase off of Michaelkors.ca, Free ground shipping, (I am assuming they have a canadian shipping facility or warehouse they now ship out of for this site) No duties or added taxes, just regular HST (ontario). It was very easy, almost too easy!

side note: I have been comparing prices on .com and .ca again, they have slowly been updating sale prices to match, but are sneakily making some things higher, especially CLOTHING and WATCHES (I wonder if there are added duties to import these items maybe??)

I will update on how long it took for my order to come and the condition it comes in, etc. Super excited YAY!

you left out what you got lol

Interesting to see how quickly it arrives and whether you'll be hit with import fees. Did they say who is the shipper? UPS, Fedex, Purolator etc

It shipped already, as of around 6:30 so about 7 hrs after I placed my order, by Canada post and from montreal. So there should not be any charges, I'll just find it in my post office box (hopefully)...don't want to give anything away but it's small :p I'll post what it is when it gets here! Says it should arrive Monday.

Aw, then it'll be fine! this is so good to know, while i have access to a boutique and even an outlet if i want to drive almost an hour(one way) to shop from home is much nicer.

Small, eh? hmm.... would it be a Cindy large crossbody?

Yea same with me my closest Mk store is over an hour away and the nearest outlet is useless, they never have boutique clearance bags.
This makes life easier to get things that are not available at the nearest stores, because to order from the states was insane and I could never bring myself to do it.

I'm not giving anything away :) I'll post it when it gets here.

I actually have this in my cart but I can't seem to pull the trigger because 'all sale items can not be exchanged or refunded' what if I get a bag that have scratches and indentations?
